3 HS Scholar Bowl Anyone interested in being on the team should attend the team meeting Wednesday, Jan. 9th in Mrs. Puls's room. Please talk to Mrs. Puls if you cannot attend and want to be on the team. First Practice Monday Jan. 14th until 4:00. Please excuse the following students for the Greenhand Motivational Conference on Thursday, January 10. Students please ride the 1st hour bus to the Career Center and wear Official Dress. Bring money for lunch. Bus will return by 3:00 pm. Dress-Up Days Monday: Merica Monday (wear red, white, AND blue) Tuesday: Tacky Tourist Tuesday (tall socks, fanny packs, dorky hats, and sunglasses) Wednesday: Redneck Wednesday (boots, bandanas, plaid, hats, overalls) Thursday: Take a Road Trip Thursday! 9 th grade Oregon (green); 10 th grade Alaska (blue-just jeans doesn t count); 11 th grade New York (black); 12 th grade Florida (yellow). You must have more than one items in the

4 correct color to be counted! Friday: Purple & White Day - GO DOGS! Coronation & Variety Show Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7:00 p.m. in the HS gym. Variety show and pep rally following. The variety show will only be held if we have 3 or more acts. Sign up in the office by Friday, Jan. 25. Class Games These will be held in the HS gym during 7th and 8th hours on Friday. If you would like to participate, sign up in the office by Wednesday, Jan. 30. Ballgame On Friday, Feb. 1, the homecoming court will be announced at 5:30 p.m. in the HS gym prior to the basketball games which begin at 6:00 p.m. Dance Following the basketball games on Friday, Feb. 1 until 11:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Attire is informal - follow the school dress code.
