When we were at Liberty the fi rst time, we had a class that ended up being highly acclaimed, McKay said. And although that class achieved much, this is as excited as I have ever been about a recruiting class in their overall fi t for our university, their playing ability and their character as a whole. In 2015, Hicks earned fi rst team all-state, fi rst team all-region, fi rst team all-conference and was named the Conference 32 Player of the Year. He averaged 15.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists during his junior season.
