Purdue looks to regain its offensive touch that has gone missing after being held under 70 points in three straight games. Purdue is averaging just 60.3 points per game in the last three outings. Purdue s five losses have all come by four points or less. The last three setbacks have come by a total of eight points. Purdue will close out the regular season at Illinois (Feb. 22) and home vs. Minnesota (Feb. 25) before the Big Ten Tournament. It was Purdue s first loss since March 2013 when allowing under 60 points. The Boilermakers shot just 39.6 percent from the field, their third straight game of shooting under 43.0 percent. Purdue also made just four 3-pointers, its fewest since Nov. 30, 2016, vs. Louisville. Purdue shot under 40.0 percent for the first time since Nov. 28, against Louisville. The two teams were tied at 21 at halftime. Purdue would take a lead, but was outscored over the last nine-plus minutes. Purdue had just seven assists against 13 turnovers. The 7 assists were fewest since Feb. 12, Carsen Edwards scored 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting. The rest of the team went 11-of-29 (.379) from the field and 0-of-7 from long distance. Isaac Haas recorded his fifth career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
