Senior Alicia Leipprandt registered a game-high 21 points, classmate Dymond James added 14 points and 11 rebounds and junior Cherae Medina pitched in 11 points. The Air Force women s basketball team heads to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2013 Reese s Mountain West Championship this week, March The Falcons, seeded eighth in the tournament, will face ninth-seed Nevada in the first round. The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip. LAST TIME OUT... New Mexico put together a late 10-0 run to take a victory over Air Force Saturday in The Pit. Junior Cherae Medina led the Falcons with 15 points, while senior Katie Hilbig registered her second-straight double-double, finishing with 11 points and 13 rebounds. SCOUTING THE FALCONS... Air Force, seeded eighth in this year s tournament, closed out the regular season with a 4-25 overall record and 3-13 mark in the Mountain West, following a road loss to New Mexico on Saturday. Senior Alicia Leipprandt is the Falcons leading scorer with 13.1 points per contest, while classmate Dymond James is the team s next best scorer with 8.9 ppg. James is also Air Force s leading rebounder, averaging 7.2 boards per game, while junior Cherae Medina leads the Falcons with 3.4 assists per contest. SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK... Nevada, the ninth seed in this year s tournament, finished the regular season with a 7-22 overall record and 2-14 ledger in the Mountain West. The Wolf Pack is coming off a home loss to Colorado State. Danika Sharp is the leading scorer for Nevada, averaging 13.3 points per game, while Arielle Wideman is next on the team with 8.4 points per contest. Meanwhile, Emily Burns averages 7.1 points and a teamleading 6.6 rebounds per game. ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS FOR ALICIA... Senior Alicia Leipprandt has been named a third-team All-Mountain West selection for the 2013 season. It marks the first all-conference honor of her career, as she becomes the 10th Air Force player to earn All- Mountain West accolades and just the second to be named to one of the first three teams. Senior Katie Hilbig closed out the regular season with back-to-back double-doubles, notching 15 points and 12 rebounds versus San Diego State, while recording 11 points and 13 rebounds in the regular-season finale against New Mexico. EFFECTIVE FROM LONG RANGE... Air Force was effective from long range versus the Lobos, shooting a season-best 80 percent (4-of-5) from beyond the arc. Senior Alicia Leipprandt knocked down her only three-point attempt, while junior Cherae Medina was 3-of-4 from long range. Freshman Taylor Parker had a productive effort off the bench for the Falcons at Wyoming on Feb. 27, tallying a career-best eight points in nine minutes of action. Parker, who entered the game with five points in 12 previous games played, was 3-of-4 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line, while also adding two rebounds and a block. LIGHTS OUT AFTER THE BREAK... While Air Force shot just 22.6 percent from the field in the opening half against Wyoming on Feb. 27, the Falcons heated up offensively in the second period, knocking down 21-of-31 field goals. Air Force s 66.7 field goal percentage was its highest in a single half this season, while its 49 second-half points were also the most in a half this year. MOUNTAIN WEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK... Sophomore Jimi Blagowsky was named the Mountain West Women s Basketball Player of the Week on Feb. 25, following her performance in the Falcons win over Boise State on Feb. 20. It is the first honor of the season for an Air Force player and the first career honor for Blagowsky. Blagowsky scored a career-high 19 points off the bench to lead Air Force to a victory over Boise State in the Falcons only game of the week. It marked the second consecutive game she reached double figures after previously holding a career high of six points. Blagowsky shot 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from the field, including a career-best 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. She also posted career highs of seven rebounds and three steals, while contributing two assists and finishing 2-of-2 from the free throw line. PERFECTION FROM THE LINE... Air Force was perfect from the free throw line against Boise State on Feb. 20, knocking down 21-of-21 shots from the charity stripe. The

Junior Cherae Medina reached double-digits in assists for the second time this season with her career-high 11 assists against Boise State on Feb. 20. Medina was also just one point shy of recording a double-double for the second time this year. TOP-TEN REBOUNDERS... The Falcons now have three different players who rank as the top 10 career rebounders in Air Force s Division I history. Senior captain Dymond James leads the way, ranking second with 654 career boards. Co-captain Katie Hilbig ranks eighth on the list with 460 career rebounds, while senior Alicia Leipprandt is 10th on the list with 432 career rebounds. BEATEN ON THE BOARDS... While Air Force dominated on the glass in its win over UNLV on Jan. 12, grabbing a season-best 60 rebounds, the tables were turned in their latest game against the Lady Rebels, as the Falcons finished with just 29 boards, matching a season-low. QUALITY MINUTES FOR MICHELLE... Junior Michelle Ivey saw her fourth start of the season at UNLV on Feb. 13, getting 15 minutes of action. Ivey made the most of her time on the court, scoring a season-high seven points on 3-of-3 shooting from the field and 1-of-1 shooting at the foul line. GETTING THE TAKEAWAYS... Air Force notched a season-high 14 steals against UNLV on Feb. 13, as the Lady Rebels committed 27 turnovers, the most for a Falcon opponent this season. In addition, it marked just the third time this season that Air Force has finished with fewer turnovers than its opponent. DYMOND WITH ANOTHER DOUBLE DOUBLE... Against Nevada on Feb. 9, senior captain Dymond James registered her fifth double-double of the season and 15th of her career, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds. It was her second consecutive double-double, after registering 13 points and 14 rebounds against New Mexico on Feb. 6. She ranks second amongst current Mountain West players in career double-doubles, while her 19 career double-figure rebounding games also rank second in the Mountain West. James first double-double of the season came against Longwood on Nov. 12, when she notched 14 points and 11 rebounds, while she recorded 13 points and 14 rebounds against Army on Nov. 23. She also registered 14 points and a career-high-tying 15 rebounds in the Falcons win over UNLV on Jan. 12. ALICIA IN THE RECORD BOOKS... Air Force senior Alicia Leipprandt ranks in the top 10 of the Falcons Division I record books in several career categories, including one of her latest entries on the career assists list. Leipprandt now ranks seventh in Air Force s DI era with 179 career assists. Meanwhile, Leipprandt also ranks second in field goals attempted, third in field goals made and free throws made, fourth in scoring average and steals, fifth in free throws attempted, sixth in field goal percentage, seventh in free throw percentage and 10th in rebounds.

With her 14 points against Nevada on Feb. 9, senior Dymond James moved into fifth place on the Falcons career scoring list at the Division I level. She now has 1,029 points for her career. This year s team now has two players among the Academy s top five scorers at the Division I level. Classmate Alicia Leipprandt, who entered the season in ninth place with 851 career points, now ranks third on the list with 1,231 points. In addition, both Leipprandt and James are listed among the top 15 scorers all-time at the Academy, with Leipprandt ranked eighth, while James is 14th. A TALE OF TWO HALVES... Air Force had a strong showing against San Diego State in the first half of its game on Feb. 2, holding the Aztecs to 31 percent shooting from the field and outrebounding SDSU, The Falcons went into the locker room trailing 26-20, following a three-point buzzer beater by the Aztecs Chelsea Hopkins. The Aztecs led by as many as 23 points before taking the victory. ALICIA, THE TOP-10 SCORER... With her 15 points against Fresno State on Jan. 30, senior Alicia Leipprandt moved into the Falcons all-time top 10 scoring list. Leipprandt currently ranks eighth with 1,231 career points, which also ranks as the third-highest scoring total in Air Force s Division I era. on the afternoon. Air Force and Wyoming combined to shoot 50 percent (17-of- 34) from long range during the game. TAKING CARE OF THE BALL... Against Wyoming, Air Force finished with more assists than turnovers for just the third time this season, recording 16 assists and a season-low 11 turnovers. The two teams combined for just 16 turnovers, with the Cowgirls throwing the ball away just five times, the fewest for an Air Force opponent this year. BYRD IS THE WORD... Freshman Missy Byrd recorded her highest scoring output of the season versus Fresno State on Jan. 30, notching a career-best 14 points. Byrd knocked down 6-of-11 shots, setting new personal best marks for field goals made and attempted in a game. GETTING DEFENSIVE... The Falcons held Fresno State to 60 points on Jan. 30, then matching the lowest scoring output for an Air Force opponent this season. The Bulldogs had entered the game with the second-highest scoring average in the Mountain West at 69.4 points per game. In addition, Fresno State knocked down just four three-pointers, after entering the contest averaging a league-best 7.3 made three-point field goals per contest. Air Force also recorded 13 steals against the Bulldogs, led by senior Katie Hilbig and junior Cherae Medina, who both notched season highs with four and three steals, respectively. TOO MANY TURNOVERS... After recording a season-low 11 turnovers versus Wyoming on Jan. 26, the Falcons were plagued by turnovers against Fresno State. Air Force committed 20 of their season-high 30 turnovers in the opening half to help the Bulldogs stake a 19-point lead at the intermission. CAMILLE S CAREER NIGHT... Junior Camille Thompson was the lone Air Force player to score in double figures against Wyoming on Jan. 26, registering a career-high 15 points. Thompson shot 5-of-9 from long range versus the Cowgirls after knocking down just 2-of-18 three-point field goals in the Falcons first 17 games of the season. FROM DOWNTOWN... The Falcons eight three-pointers against the Cowgirls on Jan. 26 were their most of the season and the most since the season. Air Force also shot a season-best 47.1 percent from long range versus Wyoming. The Cowgirls also shot well from beyond the arc, making 9-of-17 three-pointers BEATEN ON THE BOARDS... Against Wyoming, Air Force was outrebounded for the first time in conference play this season, with the Cowgirls earning a advantage on the boards. The Falcons 29 rebounds against Wyoming matched a season-low total. CHERAE, THE SCORING LEADER... Junior Cherae Medina led the Falcons against Boise State on Jan. 19, scoring a career-high 23 points, including a career-best 10 made field goals, the most for an Air Force player this season. CAMILLE SCORES... Junior Camille Thompson was one of the Falcons top scorers against Colorado State on Jan. 16, tallying a then-season-best nine points after scoring just seven points total in Air Force s first 13 games of the season. DOUBLE-DOUBLES ALL AROUND... For the first time in the Falcons Division I history, three different Air Force players tallied double-doubles in a single game, with seniors Katie Hilbig and Dymond James and junior Cherae Medina reaching the mark against UNLV on Jan. 12. KATIE S DOUBLE-DOUBLE... Senior Katie Hilbig registered her first double-double of the year with 14 points and 16 rebounds against UNLV. It also marked the fourth double-double of her career. Hilbig s 14 points against the Lady Rebels were a season high, while her 16 rebounds were a career high. The 16 rebounds were also the most in a single game for an Air Force player since the season, when Kim Kreke twice recorded 19 rebounds. CHERAE JOINS THE DOUBLE-DOUBLE CLUB... Junior Cherae Medina recorded her first career double-double against UNLV on Jan. 12, finishing with 13 points and a personal-best 10 assists. Medina became the first Falcon to record double-digit assists since Anna Gault in 2010.

6 p GAME NOTES AIR FORCE VS. NEVADA - MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE WIN COLUMN... While the Falcons did not win their first conference game of the season until the regular-season finale last year, this season Air Force took care of the job quickly, getting its first Mountain West win in the second conference game of the year, and its first at home. CHERAE STEPS UP... Junior Cherae Medina had a career day in the Falcons win over CSU Bakersfield, registering a then-personal-best 15 points, knocking down a career-high three baskets from beyond the arc, including the game-tying shot at the end of regulation. Medina also dished out five assists with just one turnover and added four rebounds and two steals. MEDINA AT THE CHARITY STRIPE... Junior Cherae Medina scored nine of her 13 points against UNLV at the foul line, setting new career highs for free throws made (9) and attempted (10) in a single game. Entering the game, Medina had attempted just six free throws all season, converting three. FEWER TURNOVERS... The Falcons game versus Nevada on Jan. 9 marked just the second time this season that Air Force has committed fewer turnovers than its opponent. The Falcons had a then-season-low 15 turnovers versus the Wolf Pack. ALICIA REACHES With her 19 points against Utah Valley, senior Alicia Leipprandt surpassed the 1,000 career point mark, becoming just the fourth player in the Falcons Division I history to achieve the milestone and the 13th all-time at the Academy. BATTLE OF THE BOARDS... Air Force finished with one of its highest rebound totals of the season versus Utah Valley, recording 45 rebounds as a team. Three different players Dymond James, Cherae Medina and Austyn Wilson led the Falcons with nine rebounds each. The nine rebounds were career-high marks for both Medina and Wilson. DYMOND TOP-10 REBOUNDER... With her nine rebounds versus Utah Valley, senior forward Dymond James moved into the Falcons top-10 all-time rebounding list. Since that game, she has moved to 654 career rebounds, ranking second amongst Air Force players at the Division I level and seventh all-time at the Academy. MADELEINE GETS TO DOUBLE DIGITS... Freshman Madeleine Philpot was the Falcons leading scorer against Iowa State on Dec. 29, registering a career-best 10 points. Philpot shot 4-of-6 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, to lead Air Force in just 12 minutes of action. Philpot also set several career best marks versus Penn on day two of the Cyclone Challenge, recording five rebounds, three assists and three steals, leading the team in all three categories. FREE THROW WOES... In each of its games at the Cyclone Challenge, Air Force was unable to gain points at the charity stripe, scoring just two free throws in each game. Against Iowa State, Air Force was just 2-of-4 from the free throw line, as the Cyclones were whistled for just five fouls in the game. Meanwhile, the Falcons connected on just 2-of-9 foul shots (a season-low 22.2 percent) versus Penn. All four made free throws on the weekend were scored by senior Alicia Leipprandt. AIR FORCE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK... Junior Cherae Medina was named the Air Force Athlete of the Week on Dec. 17, following her performance in the Falcons overtime win over CSU Bakersfield. Medina, who scored a career-high 15 points, knocked down the game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime. She added another five points in overtime, including a three-point field goal that gave the Falcons their first lead of the extra period. FALCONS IN OVERTIME... With its win over CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 13, Air Force improved to all-time in overtime contests. The Falcons last overtime game was on March 5, 2011, when they dropped a decision to New Mexico in their regularseason finale. ALICIA HITS 20...AGAIN... Senior Alicia Leipprandt registered a team-best 21 points in the Falcons win against CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 13, marking the second time this season that she reached 20 points. She previously scored 23 points to lead Air Force against Army. SLOW START AT THE FOUL LINE... Air Force had a shaky performance at the free throw line in the first half against CSU Bakersfield, missing all six of its foul shots. However, the Falcons ended the game strong, knocking down 11 of their last 13 free throws, including 4-of- 5 in overtime. DISHING OUT THE ASSISTS... The Falcons dished out a season-high 24 assists against CSU Bakersfield, just one short of the program s Division I single-game record, with junior Cherae Medina and senior Katie Hilbig notching five assists each to lead the team. The win over the Roadrunners also marked the first time this season that Air Force has recorded more assists than turnovers in a game. GETTING OFFENSIVE... After averaging just 50.6 points in their first eight games of the season, the Falcons averaged 77.5 points in their games against Denver and CSU Bakersfield. Air Force also shot a combined 44.8 percent from the field in those two contests. KATIE CRASHES THE BOARDS... Senior captain Katie Hilbig turned in her first 10+ rebound performance of the season against Denver on Dec. 8, grabbing a then-career-high 15 boards. FALCONS BLOCK PARTY... Air Force registered a season-high five blocks against Denver, led by sophomore Simonne Potts and senior Dymond James, who recorded two blocks each. DYMO HITS With her five rebounds against North Dakota, senior co-captain Dymond James reached 500 rebounds for her career, becoming just the third player in the Academy s Division I history to achieve that mark. TURNOVER WOES... Turnovers have plagued the Falcons throughout the season after committing 24 turnovers against Kansas City on Nov. 30, Air Force followed with a thenseason-high 29 turnovers against San Diego on Dec. 1. Meanwhile, the Falcons were charged with 27 turnovers against North Dakota on Dec. 4, with North Dakota scoring 30 points off Air Force s miscues. Medina, who scored a career-high three three-point field goals against the Roadrunners, also dished out a team-best five assists and recorded four rebounds and two steals, while committing just one turnover. CAREER HIGH FOR AUSTYN... Senior Austyn Wilson turned in her best offensive performances of the season in the Air Force Classic, scoring a then-season-high eight points versus Kansas

Wilson then followed up with a team-leading 10-point performance against San Diego, reaching double figures in scoring for the first time in her career. BENCH SCORING AGAINST THE BENGALS... Against Idaho State, Air Force received 42 of its 51 points from the bench. Senior Dymond James led the way, coming off the bench to score 17 points. MISSY WITH THE DOUBLE-DOUBLE... Freshman Missy Byrd had a breakout performance against Kansas City on Nov. 30, posting her first career double-double in her first career start. Byrd tallied 10 points and a team-leading 14 rebounds, both personal-best marks. She also set a career high with four assists against the Kangaroos. Several of the Falcons reserves saw career-high scoring totals against the Bengals, including freshmen Missy Byrd and Madeleine Philpot, who registered nine and six points, respectively. In addition, sophomore Lindsey Lewis and freshman Lindsey Stimeling, each playing in their first career game, added six and two points, respectively. CRASHING THE BOARDS... Air Force dominated on the boards versus Kansas City, bringing down twice as many rebounds (44) as the Kangaroos (22). In fact, the Falcons top two rebounders combined for more rebounds than the entire UMKC team, as freshman Missy Byrd grabbed 14 boards, while senior Dymond James added nine rebounds. DISTRIBUTING THE BALL... The Falcons did a good job of passing the ball in their game against Kansas City, recording a then-season-high 17 assists against the Roos as just four of Air Force s 21 field goals were unassisted. Junior guard Cherae Medina led the Falcons in assists with five, while post players Missy Byrd and Dymond James each registered four assists. TAYLOR MAKES HER DEBUT... Freshman forward Taylor Parker made her first appearance for the Falcons in the Air Force Classic. The two-sport athlete recently wrapped up competition with Air Force s volleyball team, where she played in 70 sets and ranked second on the team in total blocks. FOUL/NO FOUL... While free throws played a significant factor in Air Force s loss to Army, fouls had no effect on the outcome of the Falcons other service academy rivalry game. Air Force s six made free throws and 11 free throw attempts were both season lows, while Navy s 11 made free throws were the fewest for a Falcon opponent this season. In addition, Air Force and Navy combined for just 26 fouls in the contest, three fewer than Air Force s total (29) versus Army. GOOD FROM DOWNTOWN... While the Falcons hit just one three-pointer in the first 39 minutes against Longwood, Air Force tried to battle back from a 10-point deficit with three treys in the last 60 seconds. Senior Alicia Leipprandt knocked down her three-pointer with 40 seconds remaining, while senior Dymond James and junior Cherae Medina added three-pointers of their own. James hit her lone three-point attempt of the game, just the third made threepointer of her career, while Medina s trey with 18 seconds remaining was her second of the game, setting a new career high for three-point field goals made in a single game. WE VE GOT SENIORS... For the first time since the season, Air Force has more than one senior on its roster. This year, four seniors are suiting up for the Falcons team cocaptains Katie Hilbig and Dymond James, as well as Alicia Leipprandt and Austyn Wilson marking Air Force s largest senior class since All four seniors started for Air Force in the Falcons first two games of the season. FALCONS PICKED NINTH... In the preseason conference poll released Oct. 22, Air Force was chosen by the coaches and select media to finish ninth in the Mountain West standings this year. Defending regular-season and tournament champion San Diego State was tabbed as the preseason favorite, receiving 22 first-place votes. Newcomer Fresno State collected the remaining two first-place votes and was picked to finish second, while UNLV edged out Wyoming for third place. San Diego State s Courtney Clements and Deajanae Scurry were named the preseason Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, respectively, while Wyoming transfer Aubry Boehme earned Preseason Newcomer of the Year honors. KNOCKING DOWN SHOTS... Air Force shot a season-best 49.1 percent from the field against Army, including 59.1 percent in the first half alone. Leading the way offensively for the Falcons was senior Alicia Leipprandt, who shot a career-best.889 from the field (8-of-9) and converted on both of her three-point field goal attempts. OPPONENTS AT THE FREE THROW LINE... Army had a significant advantage at the free throw line against Air Force on Nov. 23, knocking down 32 of 46 foul shots. The Black Knights free throws made and attempted were the most by an Air Force opponent in the past 10 seasons. In addition, Army became just the second Air Force opponent to make at least 30 free throws in a game in that same span and the third to attempt at least 40 free throws. In the season, Utah hit 30 foul shots against the Falcons, while Bryant (42) and Wyoming (41) each attempted over 40 free throws during the season. AT THE CHARITY STRIPE... After struggling from the free throw line in their first two games of the season, the Falcons had a strong performance at the charity stripe against Idaho State, knocking down 24-of-26 foul shots. Their 92.9 free throw percentage was the highest for the team since the season.

8 ANDREA WILLIAMS HEAD COACH THIRD SEASON (EDINBORO 94) HEAD COACH ANDREA WILLIAMS Andrea Williams enters her third season as the head coach of the Air Force women s basketball program. Upon her arrival during the summer of 2010, Williams was tasked with turning around a program that had won just seven games in the previous two seasons combined. In just two years leading the Falcons, Williams has already helped the program make great strides. In , the Falcons posted a 6-24 overall record despite dealing with a depleted lineup. The team began the year with a road victory at Lipscomb, snapping a 43-game road losing streak, before finishing the year with three road wins. In addition, Air Force defeated New Mexico in its regular-season finale, just its second-victory ever over the Lobos. In Williams first year at the helm of the program, Air Force finished the season with a 9-22 overall record, surpassing the team s win total from the previous two seasons combined. In addition, the Falcons posted three regularseason Mountain West Conference victories, marking the team s first conference wins since With its win over San Diego State in mid-january, Air Force was able to snap a 40-game losing streak in the Mountain West Conference. Just 10 days later, the Falcons knocked off league-leading TCU, defeating the Horned Frogs for the first time in 23 years. Air Force reached its third conference win, just one shy of a school record, with a home victory over UNLV in its highest-scoring conference game ever. In addition, the Falcons won just their second Mountain West Conference tournament game in program history, defeating Colorado State, It marked the first time during the MWC Championship that the ninth seed had posted a win over the fourth-seeded team. Under Williams leadership, Air Force has broken numerous program single-season records in the Division I era, including points scored, rebounds, field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, assists and free throws made and attempted. The Falcons have also won the Mountain West Conference s Pack the House Challenge in back-to-back seasons, setting a new home attendance record in 2011 as 2,907 fans watched the Colorado State game on Jan. 25. Williams arrived at the Academy from the University of South Florida, where she served as an assistant coach for two seasons ( ). While at USF, Williams helped lead the Bulls to a pair of WNIT appearances, including a WNIT championship during the campaign. The Bulls finished that year with a overall record, including an amazing 19-2 mark in non-conference competition. In addition, USF posted an 8-8 ledger in the ultra-competitive Big East Conference before falling to national champion Connecticut in the quarterfinals of the league tournament. Meanwhile, the Bulls returned to the postseason in 2010, earning a trip to the WNIT Tournament before ending the year with a overall record, which included a win over nationally ranked conference rival Syracuse. she spent two seasons ( ) as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the United States Naval Academy. While at Navy, Williams helped the Midshipmen compile 29 wins over the two-year period. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Williams was in charge of coordinating Navy s national recruiting efforts, which resulted in an All-Patriot League first-team selection and a Patriot League All-Rookie selection, among others. Williams also spent three seasons ( ) as an assistant coach at the University of Tampa. During her time there, the Spartans enjoyed three consecutive winning seasons, boasting a ledger during that span. During the season, Tampa compiled a record, earning the Sunshine State Conference Championship and a trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Before heading to Tampa, Williams served as the head basketball coach at Waynesburg State (Pa.) for two years ( ). During that time, she recruited NCAA leader Christina Nicol, who ranked third in the nation in blocked shots and 25th in scoring en route to Presidents Athletic Conference accolades. Williams also served as the head coach for cross country and softball at Waynesburg State and was a member of the ECAC South Selection Committee for NCAA Division III. Williams began her collegiate basketball coaching career at Division II Edinboro University (Pa.) as an assistant from The Fighting Scots won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament s Elite Eight during her second and final season with the program. During that year, she coached the NCAA s rebounding leader (Heather Gates) and recruited the nation s eventual No. 2 scorer (Jessica Rowe). Williams played two seasons of basketball at Vincennes University (Ind.), followed by two seasons of basketball and one season of softball at Edinboro. She helped lead Edinboro to a pair of NCAA Division II Tournament appearances and captained the squad in her senior season ( ). A 1994 graduate of Edinboro University, Williams earned her bachelor s degree in physical education with a minor in health fitness. She is currently working towards her master s in education. She was also a member of the first graduation class at the Women s Coaches Academy in Bryn Mawr, Pa., in 2004 and is currently a member of the Women s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Black Coaches Association (BCA). In the summer of 2006, Williams was one of 11 female college coaches accepted into the Achieving Coaching Excellence Program by the BCA. Additionally, Williams served as a co-presenter for the How to be a Head Coach assistant coaches symposium at the 2011 WBCA Convention. She has also been a presenter for the WBCA s So You Want to Be a Coach program, as well as an ACE Program presenter and on-court demonstrator for the BCA since 2011, and is a current member of the WBCA s All-America selection committee. A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., Williams brings a wealth of experience at all levels of the college game. Prior to joining the Bulls, she spent four seasons ( ) as an assistant at Jacksonville University, where she helped turn the Dolphins into a power in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Before her arrival at JU, the Dolphins had never recorded a winning season. In addition, the most wins since the program began competition during the season was 13. However, during Williams final two seasons at Jacksonville, the Dolphins recorded a cumulative record of and a 25-7 slate in Atlantic Sun competition, while notching a school-record 23 wins in Williams is also no stranger to the rigors of coaching at a service academy, as
