Hall is one of three players that have started each game this season with the others being seniors Rachel Bell and Christa Reed. The Florida native is Vanderbilt s leading scorer with 13.9 points per game. Hall has reached double figures in 12 games and has scored 15 or more on 10 occasions. Hall s 14.0 points per game is second among SEC freshmen trailing Texas A&M s Chennedy Carter. Bell and Hall are Better Together Rachel Bell and Chelsie Hall are quite the scoring tandem for the Commodores. Hall is Vanderbilt s leading scorer with 14.0 points per game while Bell is right behind her with 13.6 points per game. The pair have combined for 470 of Vanderbilt s 1181 points this season which amounts to 40 percent of Vanderbilt s scoring. The pair have combined to lead the team in scoring in 11 of 17 games this season. Kayla Overbeck Heating Up Kayla Overbeck is playing her best basketball of the season right now. The sophomore SEC All- Freshman team selection a year ago, has posted double figures in three of the last five games and tallied her first double-double of the season with a season-best 15 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Lipscomb. In the last four games, Overbeck is averaging 8.8 points per game, up from the 6.6 points per game she was averaging entering the NC State game. Additionally, Overbeck has grabbed a rebound in each of the last 13 games and is averaging 4.5 rebounds per game. Lipscomb game hadn t scored more than 79 points. Dores Struggle to Start and End Games This season, the Commodores have struggled in the beginning and ends of games. Vanderbilt is averaging just 15.8 points in the first quarter compared to opponents 19.8 first-quarter points. In similar fashion, the Commodores are averaging 16.8 fourth-quarter points compared to opponents 21.5 fourth-quarter points, giving the Commodores a -4.0 scoring margin in the first quarter and a -4.7 scoring margin in the fourth quarter. Vanderbilt plays its best basketball in the third quarter, averaging 20.5 points compared to 20.2 points for the opponents. On the season, Vanderbilt has won or tied the third quarter in 11 games this season. Dores Look To Limit Turnovers During SEC play, the Commodores have really struggled to limit turnovers. Through the first three games, Vanderbilt opponents are scoring nearly 30 percent of their points off Commodores miscues. Bell Makes it 1,000 Senior guard Rachel Bell became the 37th member of Vanderbilt s 1,000-point club against NC State on Dec. 19 with a jumper late in the contest. Bell, who now has 1,058 career points, is the first Commodore to reach 1,000 since the season when the Dores had three players reach the mark. Bell is No. 31 on Vanderbilt s all-time scoring chart. Reed Approaching 1K Christa Reed is just 112 points away from the 1,000-point mark entering the Tennessee game. Reed is seeking to join classmate Rachel Bell who reached the milestone earlier this season. Reed will need to average 9.1 ppg to hit the milestone this season. 40 is the Magic Number on the Glass For the fifth time this season, the Commodores tallied 40+ rebounds against Lipscomb with a season-best 44 rebounds. In games in which Vanderbilt grabs at least 40 rebounds they are 4-1. Conversely, when they fail to get to 40 rebounds Vanderbilt is Six Double Up vs. Lipscomb For the first time this season, Vanderbilt had more than five players in double figures against Lipscomb. The Commodores had six players in double-figures led by 17 from Chelsie Hall. Joining Hall in double figures was Kayla Overbeck (15), Autumn Newby (16), Christa Reed (15), Rachel Bell (10), Erin Whalen (10). The last time Vanderbilt had six players in double figures was in 2009 against Alabama an Vanderbilt win. Fillin Up the Stat Sheet Vanderbilt exploded for its best offensive night of the season with a season-best 92 points against Lipscomb. The Dores are averaging 70.4 points per game and this year and prior to the Strong Start Against Cardinals Vanderbilt had one of its best starts of the season against Louisville, in fact the Commodores led after one period of play. The Dores 24 points are the most scored in the first period this season and marked the first time Vanderbilt has led after one period of play this season. The Dores are averaging 16.2 points per quarter. Dores are Youthful Of the 14 players on the Vanderbilt roster 10 are underclassmen meaning that the Commodore roster is 71.4 percent underclassmen. The Dores added four true freshmen this season and had a five-member freshman class last year while welcoming

7 Boston College transfer and redshirt sophomore Mariella Fasoula. Bell Tough Against Syracuse In Paradise Jam Senior Rachel Bell was on fire against Syracuse in the second game of the Paradise Jam. The Tennessee native tied her career best with 31 points against the Cuse and went 7-of-10 from long range to set a new career best and tie the Paradise Jam single-game three-point record. Bell s 31 points are the most points and individual scored in a single game over the three-day tournament. Bell averaged 18.0 points per game at the Paradise Jam. Bell Shoots Her Way into Vandy Record Books Bell s seven triples against Syracuse will earn her a spot in the Vanderbilt record books as her seven long-range bombs tie her for the second-most triples in a single-game. She joins Christina Foggie, Caroline Williams, Jillian Danker and Julie Powell as Dores to hit seven in a game. The senior was just one away from tying the program record and two away from holding the top spot by herself. For her career, Bell is shooting.369 percent from long range.
