1 Issue Date: Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 BRONCOS HOST TITANS; DENVER TO MAKE SECOND MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL APPEARANCE OF 2007 The Broncos (4-5) will make their second of three scheduled 2007 Monday Night Football appearances this week when they host the Tennessee Titans (6-3). Kickoff at INVESCO Field at Mile High is set for 6:30 p.m. MST. The Broncos are coming off a win at Kansas City on Sunday, a victory that was their first at Arrowhead Stadium since posted a season-high four takeaways (3 INTs, 1 FUM) while undrafted rookie running back Selvin Young recorded the first 100- yard rushing game of his career (109 yds.) to become the 12th different Bronco to reach that mark in a regular-season game since In the third game of a stretch in which they play six of eight contests on the road, the Broncos play at home this week for the only time in November. They face the Titans after they had their three-game winning streak snapped with a home loss to Jacksonville last week. Tennessee is set to play a regular-season contest in for the first time since 1992 when the franchise was known as the Houston Oilers. Monday s game features the two longest-tenured active NFL head coaches with their current team in s Mike Shanahan and Tennessee s Jeff Fisher, who both are in their 13th full season with their respective clubs. s game against Tennessee also marks the first regular-season game between the Broncos Jay Cutler and the Titans Vince Young, who were two of the three quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Cutler, who has thrown at least one touchdown in 12 of his 14 career games, leads the NFL in completion percentage on third down (70.4) and is third in the league in third-down passer rating (109.4). On special teams, the Broncos rank among the NFL s top 10 in opponent kickoff return average (4th), opponent punt return average (6th) and own kickoff return average (6th) in the four games since their bye week. 7 broncos 2007 weekly release CUTLER, YOUNG SET FOR FIRST REGULAR-SEASON MEETING Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler and Titans quarterback Vince Young, both of whom were selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft, will face each other for the first time in the regular season on Monday. Cutler was picked by with the 11th overall choice from Vanderbilt University while Young was taken by Tennessee with the third overall choice from the University of Texas. The two played against each other in the preseason as rookies with defeating Tennessee at home on Aug. 19, 2006, in a contest in which neither Cutler or Young started.
