WYATT Challenger Lower Grades Singles Event Five Belmont Sports 10th June 2017 Hello all and welcome to the wrap up of event number 5 of 8. We had 82 players front up to the 5th event of 2017.

This was 5th event of 8 to complete the preliminaries prior to the finals starting where the Top Qualified 16 in each division will play off in the Grand Final on Saturday the 14th October 2017 (TBC)

1 WYATT Challenger Lower Grades Singles Event Five Belmont Sports 10th June 2017 Hello all and welcome to the wrap up of event number 5 of 8. We had 82 players front up to the 5th event of The players participated in the 3 divisions, Division 1 had 32 players, Division 2 had 29 players and Division 3 had 21 players. This was 5th event of 8 to complete the preliminaries prior to the finals starting where the Top Qualified 16 in each division will play off in the Grand Final on Saturday the 14th October 2017 (TBC) at the Belmont Sports & Rec. However, you must have played in at least 6 or 75% of the events to be eligible to play. Remember those who have played at least 6 events and are not in the Top 16 will be elevated into the 16 if higher points players are not qualified. We had 17 x 180's thrown today by 9 individuals and 8 x 100 plus pegs, the highest being 120 by Scott Tylee, well done. It was pleasing to see another 2 new players participate in the 5th event of the year. Today we paid out $810 in the 3 divisions and carried forward $480 to the end of year Champion of Champions.

4 As discussed please remember the Darts WA dress code required at these and future events. This can be found on the DWA website. Also be reminded about Prize Money, point 8 of the playing format requires a player to wait and receive any monies won at the completion of the Division Finals The Points Tables and Report will be published on the SSDA website - ssda2000.org and our Wayne Wyatt Challenger Singles Face Book page. With links to other outlets as well. Again thanks to Belmont Sports and the staff for the use of the venue, thanks to the bowling club for allowing us the use of the top bar - dart area during the qualifying. This looks like it will continue to grow and will continue to give Belmont Sports more reason to smile in the future with increased patronage on the Saturday's we are here. Big thanks to Wayne Walton and Stewart Neilson and all the helpers that helped out when required during the day and also Glen McCleod for helping out while Allan was at Rockingham promoting AusDarts today.
