3 WAIMAK UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB MEN S CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE VS PARKLANDS UNITED 2.30PM KICK OFF PARKLANDS RESERVE Coaches Comments This week we head to Parklands reserve to play 3rd place Parklands. After a fantastic win and huge effort from all involved on Saturday against top of the table and unbeaten Halswell United, the team go into this game with belief and the foundations to build on for the remainder of the season. Also congratulations to our reserve team who also beat Halswell on Saturday who are also top of the reserve league, the Waimak team now sit just 2 points off the top spot. Going into Saturdays game we know it will be a tricky game as Parklands play a physical approach along with a fast front to back transitional game and have beaten us in the first 2 rounds. I know the lads are itching to put this straight. We are looking to claim the 3 points and with a few other results going our way could see the team jumping from bottom place into 3rd position which a. reflects well to how we have been playing and b. is where we are targeting to finish come the end of the season.
