4 Standings standings will be based on the following: % of students in each House with 0 Behaviour Points % of students in each House with 100% Punctuality Average number of House Points per student in each House House Weekly Attendance House Challenge The winning House in each category with get four points; second place three points; third place two points and fourth place one point.

5 Standings Following the important notices in Friday s Tutor Time the deadline for the House Challenge will be Tuesday 25 th September at 11:15am. standings will be sent out later in the week. Make sure your form enters the maths challenge as the standings this week are very close.

8 Literacy Ambassadors There will be a meeting on Wednesday 26 th September during first break. The meeting will be in Room 009. Football Y7, 8, 9 & 10 Boys Football teams have matches against South Axholme on Thursday 27 th at Baysgarth. Squads will be put up at the Sports Hall. Kick off around 4pm. Y7, 8, 9 & 10 Football matches vs Vale have been moved to Wednesday 17 th October.

9 Football Year 10 and Year 11 Football training has moved from Thursdays to Tuesdays. See Mr Wright for more information. These changes take effect from Tuesday 25 th September.

15 European Day of Languages! It s the European Day of Languages on Wednesday 26 th! You can get involved by celebrating the day throughout the week by: Taking funny photos in the Photo Booth in the red atrium at break times (free, but 5p if you want the photo printed) Trying different food at the Grub Hub and Noms Break: Ham & cheese croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Croque Monsieur Lunch: Bratwurst hot dogs, Chicken Paella, Spaghetti Bolognese, Beef Stifado, Fish & Chips, Pear Clafoutis, Banoffee Pie

20 SMSC task: Spiritual - RESPECT Jesus taught the Golden Rule which was treat others as you want to be treated. In a recent Channel 4 vote most people in Britain (94%) believed this was extremely important even if you weren t religious. What examples can you give of how we can follow this rule?
