Step 3 Select the ram you want to view and site will tell you his pedigree, progeny and his EBVs (with accuracy values). EBVs are displayed as bar charts to make it easier to interpret. Anything to the right of the midline is above average for the trait. The further they are to the right, the more extreme the animal is for that trait. Step 4 Print the record. Charts can be printed for display at sales to promote performance recorded stock to potential buyers. Select rams with the attributes you require in your flock - be it faster lamb growth rates, better muscling or superior maternal attributes such as milking ability and prolificacy.
