1 SHEEP THE SHOW COMMITTEE RECOMMEND HAND WASHING WHEN LEAVING ANIMAL AREAS Sheep Classes will be held according to DEFRA regulations in force at the time of the Show All sheep entered for the Show must have been dipped in an approved Sheep Scab Dip in accordance with the Statutory Requirements in force at the time of the Show. MAEDI-VISNA CERTIFICATES OF ACCREDITATION MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO UNLOADING In 2016 the Ryedale Show will have two separate sheep sections, one for Scheme Sheep and one for non-scheme Sheep. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE ONLY ACCREDITED SHEEP WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES: SUFFOLK, TEXEL, BRITISH CHAROLLAIS, BELTEX, ANY OTHER PURE CONTINENTAL BREED AND HAMPSHIRE DOWN NO ENTRY PERMITTED TO A MV ACCREDITED SECTION WITHOUT AN ORIGINAL SAC MV CERTIFICATE Where there are entries from MV Accredited and non-accredited sections, these will be "mixed", unless there are sufficient entries from each section. However, sufficient security will be provided. All other classes are for non-accredited sheep.
