2 RULES & BYLAWS 1. ALL sheep must be halter or collar led. 2. NO excessive bloom dip or bloom powder or colouring to be used on animals. 3. Entries will be accepted from either MV accredited or non-accredited sheep in the Suffolk, Continental & Shortwool classes, category must be stated on entry form. MV sheep must be accompanied by a valid SAC Certificate of Status. While the Society will take precautions to protect the status of scheme sheep, it will not hold itself responsible for any accidental contacts made which may affect the status of an exhibitor's flock. 4. No animal may be entered in more than one class except where stated. 5. Sheep may be shown trimmed or untrimmed. 6. All sheep must be in the ownership of the exhibitor for three months prior to the show. 7. All sheep must remain on the showground until 4pm. 8. All exhibitors must complete the AML 1 form that will be provided nearer the show date. 9. Please ensure that SAC MV certificates and movement licences are handed to the sheep steward on arrival before unloading. 10. Exhibitors are responsible for acquainting themselves with DEFRA regulations and for compliance therewith. 11. In classes 'Group of three' one to be of the opposite sex and owned by the same exhibitor. 12. In childrens classes the handler may show any breed, sex or age of sheep. Sheep may be trimmed or untrimmed. Exhibitors to be judged on presentation, handling and knowledge. Handlers age and name to be stated. 13. Commercial ewes and butchers lambs are not halter led and are untrimmed. 14. No cross breeds allowed unless in Commercials, Butchers Lamb or Children classes. 15. Classes may be amalgamated if insufficient animals are forward. 16. Children under 5yrs FREE TROPHIES SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP THE JOHN SCOTT PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded for the Champion sheep. A special prize of 50 generously donated by RE FLOWER will be awarded to the Champion animal and the Reserve Champion animal will receive 20. GROUP OF THREE CHAMPION A special prize of 20 and the CORSLEY PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded to the Group of Three Champion and the Reserve Champion will receive 10. BEST YOUNG STOCKPERSON A special prize of 10 generously donated by COOPER & TANNER and the FROME SHOW PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded to the best young stock person as judged by the committee. JUDGING COMMENCES AT 8.30AM WITH THE CHILDREN'S CLASSES

3 COMMERCIAL BREEDS The Whitbourne Farm Perpetual Challenge Cup will be presented to the Best Commercial Breed.
