Billings capture three of four to open the second half of the season. Zack Shannon clobbered his 6th home run of the season as he connected on a three-run shot in the ninth. Eddie Hernandez finished with two more hits for the. PACE US, SHANNON: Zack Shannon has reached base safely in the last 16 games he has played, marking the second longest streak of the season for the. Buddy Kennedy has a 17-game on-base streak from earlier this season. Shannon has a hit in all but two of those games, recording walks in both of them to keep the streak alive. The streak began July 4, where Shannon was 1-3 in Great Falls with a single and a walk. Since then, he has seven multi-hit games and three home runs and 14 RBIs. MULTI-HIT FEST: Eddie Hernandez had a series to remember against Billings, finishing the series 7-16, including 7-12 in the last three games. MAKE THAT ANOTHER OSPREY IN THE MAJORS: A part of the 2012 Missoula championship team, Michael Perez has recieved a call to the Major Leagues with the Tampa Bay Rays.
