State Electricity Board Ltd. is further pleased to order that above 92 posts of Junior T-Mate,15 posts of Junior Helper(Sub-Station) and 07 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical) belonging to various categories in the share of Ex-serviceman quota and 14 posts of Junior T/Mate and 03 posts of Junior Helper(PH)(E) to belonging to GEN(Sports) in the share of Sports quota as per roster will be filled through recruitment agency as notified by the GOHP i.e. Exserviceman Cell and Director, Youth Services and Sports, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2 and remaining 499 posts of Junior T-Mate, 130 posts of Junior Helper(Sub-Station), 39 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical) belonging to various categories as per roster will be filled up on Contract basis from open market in accordance with the R&P Regulation of Junior T-Mate, Junior Helper(Sub-Station) and Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical) as notified by HPSEBL as per process mentioned below: 1) The applicants of above categories will apply on prescribed application Proforma at Annexure-A. The prescribed application Proforma will be made available free of cost by the concerned Chief Engineer (Operation) at his office as well as at Circies/Divisions/Sub-Divisions falling under his jurisdiction. 2) The advertisement of the recruitment of 799 posts of various categories i.e. 605 posts of Junior T/Mate, 145 posts of Junior Helper(Sub-Station) and 49 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical) will be issued by Executive Director (Pers.) in the leading news papers. Out of these 799 posts of various categories i.e. 605 posts of Junior T/Mate, 145 posts of Junior Helper(Sub Station) and 49 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical), the process to filling up the 499 posts of Junior T/Mate, 130 posts of Junior Helper(Sub-Station) and 39 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical) - 2.
3 will only be initiated through the concerned Chief Engineers. The matter regarding filling up of rest of the 92 posts of Junior T - Mate, 15 posts of Junior Helper(Sub-Station) and 07 posts of Junior Helper(Power House) (Electrical) in the share of Ex-serviceman quota and 14 posts of Junior T/Mate and 03 posts of Junior Helper(Power House)(Electrical in the share of Sports quota will be taken up by the Executive Director (Pers.), HPSEBL, Shimla separately with the concerned recruitment agency i.e Ex-servicemen Employment Cell, Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Hamirpur (H.P) and Director, Youth Services and Sports, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2. 3) The desirous applicants can submit their application on prescribed Performa at anyone of the following 3 offices as per his/her convenience: (i) Chief Engineer (Operation) North, Kangra at Dharamshala (ii) Chief Engineer (Operation) Central Zone, Mandi. (iii) Chief Engineer (Operation) South, Shimla. 4) The supra mentioned offices will maintained a register in the electronic form in which the application received daily will be entered category wise on the same day and the report of the same in the prescribed Performa at Annexure-"C" will be sent through to the Executive Director(Pers.) daily before 6.00 PM. 5) These applications would be scrutinized at the level of concerned Chief Engineer through Application Scrutinizing Committees to be formed by the concerned Chief Engineer at his own level and headed by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer. 6). Application Scrutinizing Committees will enter the data on a prescribed format at Annexure-"B" of MS Excel Sheet and will ensure to submit the duly verified hard copy of the scrutinized data alongwith soft (Electronic) copy to the concerned Chief Engineer. 7) After receiving the data from respective Application Scrutinizing Committee, the concerned Chief Engineer will compile the information and prepare the Category Wise Merit List of all the applicants on prescribed format at

The entire selection process for Junior T-Mates is 'of 100 marks with following distribution: Mode of Selection: The total selection process is of 100 Marks with following distribution: S.N PROCESS MARKS ASSIGNED I. There w ill be no prorata distribution of marks but fixed 25 marks would be given to a candidate having IT! qualification in Wireman/Electrician trade irrespective of h is percentage in ITI, this being a preferred qualification. Any other technical qualification including higher technical qualification w ill not be considered for purpose of granting 25 marks. It is pertinent to mention here that the original applications of all the candidates will remain in the safe custody of Concerned Chief Engineer at this stage. 9) The Category Wise l"1erit List received from all the Chief Engineer as mentioned at Sr. No.3 above will be compiled and a Category Wise State Level merit list purely on merit basis will be prepared by the committee constituted at Board HQ level. 10) The final approval of the selected candidates as per merit list will be conveyed by the competent authority at Board Secretariat level to concerned Circles / Divisions being cadre control authorities who will further issue the appointment orders.
