2 Delhi Public School, Chhindwara.at a glance Delhi Public School, Chhindwara is situated in the lush green ambience of 11acres providing quality education in the outskirts of Chhindwara about 12kms away from Chhindwara Railway Station / city. School was established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. It endeavors to transform potentiality into reality. It s a day boarding as well as boarding school with the strength of almost 900young learners. We have hostel for Boys and girls for the session

3 Rules &Regulation 1. All the players should be within the particular age group as on December 31, For Under 19 Categories born on or after 01/01/2000. For Under 17 Categories born on or after 01/01/2002. For Under 14 Categories born on or after 01/01/2005. For Under 11 Categories born on or after 01/01/ Protest of any nature should reach the Organizing Secretary and CBSE Observer in writing within half an hour of the declaration of the result. It should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (Non Refundable). 3. We request you to inform us in detail regarding your arrival plans so that pickup arrangements from the Railway Station/Bus Stand can be made. Reporting will be on 16 Sep 2018 by 5.00 pm. There will be a meeting of all escort teachers with the officials on at 08:00 p.m. 4. Opening ceremony will be held on 17 Sep 2018 at a.m. 5. All the participating teams should carry their two school flags and other necessary kit, documents etc. as per the instructions of the CBSE. 6. The March past is compulsory for all the participating teams. They should be in their complete Sports Kit for the March past. 7. Merit Certificates will be awarded to the winning teams i.e. First Three Positions in both the categories [Boys/Girls]. Participation certificates will be issued only to the teams actually participating but not to the absentees. 8. The decision of the judges is final and binding. 9. If a school, after sending its entry, wishes to withdraw from the tournament shall, give a written request of its intention to do so at least 10 days before the commencement of the tournament to the Principal. 10. School withdrawing without informing/requesting the organizing school, will be penalized with a penalty of Rs.2000/ All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player etc in original, as per the CBSE Guidelines and rules shall be carried personally by the team Manager/Coach while reporting for participation. 12. The player s right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers supporting the eligibility in original on demand. 13. Any non-designated person accompanying the team or otherwise will not be entertained for accompanying the participants.

The organizing school (DPS Chhindwara,) will not accept any entry without the proof of payment of Annual Sports Fees Players must report at least 20 minutes in advance in proper kit for the match. 16. The host school will ensure the best possible comforts and facilities to the participants to the best of its abilities and to the supporting system. However, the participants are expected to co-operate with the host for any untoward and unexpected happening beyond its capabilities. 17. You are advised to go through the CBSE rules and Regulations Team members are not allowed to move around the school and in the School campus and they are expected to maintain decency in their behavior. 19. Use of Alcoholic Drinks, Smoking and eating Pouches is strictly prohibited. 20. Outsiders apart from escort teachers are not allowed to come in the school campus. 21. The players will have to stay with the team and parents are not allowed to stay with the players. 22. The school will not be responsible for any loops, illness or accident, which may occur during tournament. 23. The schedule of the match will be displayed before the start of the event. 24. Routines will be drawn a day before the tournament starts or at least half an hour before the tournament. 25. Participant should be ready with the proper swimming costume and accessories before event.

5 Game Rules: SWIMMING (BOYS & GIRLS ) 1. The CBSE Swimming Competition shall be conducted under the rules of the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) unless modified in these rules. 2. 6 IMPORTANT: Events marked (*) will be conducted on time trial basis. If required it would mean that every swimmer in these events will get only one chance, and the final positions in these events will be determined on the basis of time recorded in different heats. 3. In under 11 years age group, a swimmer can participate in maximum three Individual events and in relays. In under 14 years age group, a swimmer can participate in maximum four Individual events and in relays. In under 17 & 19 years age group, a swimmer can participate in maximum five Individual events and in relays. * The Individual Championship (Best Swimmer) in any age group will be awarded only to one swimmer on the basis of medals won, and in case of tie, performance will be taken into consideration. 4. From each Zone, the first and second position winning Swimmers/Relay teams will qualify to participate in the Nationals. Swimming Continued: 5. At Zone level, in case there are less than four swimmers present for a particular event, it may be conducted and swimmers may be awarded the medals and the merit certificate. But they may not be awarded the points so as to be included for the Individual or Team Championship. However, the names of first and second position winning swimmers may be forwarded for participation in Nationals. 6. At National level, in case there are less than four swimmers present for a particular event, it may be conducted and swimmers may be awarded the medals and the merit certificate. But they may not be awarded the points so as to be included for the Individual or Team Championship. 7. No swimmer shall be permitted to participate without proper swimming costume. 8. The decision of the Referee on all technical aspects will be final. 9. In case of any protest, the decision of Jury of Appeal/Protest Committee shall be final. 10. The championship will be decided separately in boys & girls section. 11. The points shall be awarded on the team basis according to the point systems as per the following criteria as adopted by SFI.

A separate prize may be given to the Individual Champion in Boys and Girls section, in all the age categories. For deciding the Individual Champion, the performance in the individual events and individual medley may be taken into consideration. 13. A prize may be given to the school scoring total maximum points and may be declared as over-all Champion. 14. All the first three position winning swimmers shall be awarded with the Merit Certificate and the medal. 15. All the remaining participants shall be provided with a Participation Certificate. 16. In the case of relays, all the five members of the team (if five names are given before the meet in the eligibility Performa and all five have attended the meet) irrespective of who swims the finals, shall be awarded the Medals and Certificates. 17. New Meet Record(s) wherever created should be clearly indicated as NMR. 18. The school Organizing Zone level competition shall take a Group Photo of the teams that have qualified to participate at National level competition. The photo shall be signed by the host school Principal and forwarded to the school organizing next level of competition along with the original entry Performa.

8 BOARDING AND LODGING: 1. Delhi Public School, Chhindwara will provide separate accommodations for boys and girls in the school campus. 2. The team Managers and Coaches are supposed to stay with their teams. 3. The payment for food & staying will be borne by the teams and the cost of food and stay per head per day Rs.350/- shall be deposited in advance at the Account Section and Advance Deposit of Rs.2000/- (Refundable) for security. 4. Only vegetarian food shall be served. 5. The contingent should bring Blanket while mattresses, bed sheets & pillows will be provided by the school. 6. All participants are advised to carry their own mosquito repellants, lock & key for safety. 7. The team shall be responsible for their belongings and are advised not to carry costly items with them. 8. The contingent must not put damage to Delhi Public School & /Hostel property. In case of any damage the participating team will have to bear the cost. 9. The team officials are requested to complete all the formalities and clear all the payments before their departure. 10. It is not obligatory on the part of organizing school to provide food/transport facility to school/teams making their own stay arrangements. Also, it is the responsibility of school/team staying outside to collect information in regard to matches/ fixtures/programmer. 11. Every Day Last entry in the campus by 9.00 pm. After 9.00 pm no team members willbe allowed to go out of the Campus without permission. 12. The departing teams are requested to inform four Hrs. prior from their Departure to the Accounts Department for clearance of their accounts and for arranging the transport. Timings for Meals: Breakfast : a.m. to a.m. Lunch : 01 noon to p.m. Evening Tea : 04:00 p.m. to p.m. Dinner : p.m. to 09:00 p.m.

9 The following documents are compulsory/mandatory along with the entry form: 1. To provide the team photograph, taken along with the school Principal and countersigned by him/her. 2. For students/players studying in IX Std. and above, to provide CBSE Registration Number along with the Xerox copy of CBSE Registration Card (Compulsory) attested by the school Principal. 3. All the participating schools must attach the proof of payment of Annual Sports Fees (Rs.10000/-) session (Challan payment voucher during IX & XI Registrations for the session ). 4. Hard Copies of on Line Entry Participation Performa, Unique I-D Number Performa, along with Identity Cards as per CBSE new guidelines duly attested by school Principal. 5. Only entry via will be accepted one week before the competition starts (i.e. till 08 th September 2018). No by Hand Entry will be accepted. 6. All the participating schools must keep the original documents (CBSE Registration Cards, Class X Mark Sheet of previous year etc.) with them for verification. 7. Only bonafide students shall be eligible to participate in the tournament. Feeding any non-bonafide students shall lead to disqualification of the team. 8. A student, who has failed twice in a particular class, shall not be eligible to participate. 9. No team shall be accompanied by more than two officials. 10. In girls participating team, one of the accompanying officials must be a female.
