2 President / General Secretaries, Affiliated State Pencak Silat Associations, Dear All, It is my great pleasure to announce the following Championship as under:- Event: 2 nd Federation Cup Pencak Silat Championship 2017 for Junior & Senior Categories,( Boys & Girls / Men & Women) Location: Aagri Koli Sanscruti Bhawan, Plot no 9, Sector 24, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The Tournament will also be a Platform for Final Short-listing Players to join the National Training Camp for Selection of the Indian National Team that will participate at the Junior World Championship Thailand, & 18 th Asian Games Jakarta- Indonesia.. Event Dates: Thursday 28th to Friday 29th December, 2017 (2 days) Arrival Date: Wednesday 27th December, 2017 (mid-day) Departure Date: Saturday 30th December, 2017 (morning) Participation: for top qualified teams & weight categories of STATE/Union Territories, Services etc. Event entry fee s : Rs 1,500/- (One Thousand Five hundred Only). Accommodation Venue: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Nearest Railway Stations: Thane Railway Station Nearest Airport : Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai. 3 Please Note: Participation in this tournament will be restricted only to qualified STATE Associations & some of the qualified weight categories only & Some wild card entries will also be given to the outstanding players. All the Players must wear the black uniform during the championship, No player will be allowed to play without official Playing dress. Pencak Silat competition will be conducted in accordance with the latest version of International Pencak Silat Federation rules. Victory Ceremony Gold, silver and bronze medals & Merit & participation certificates will be awarded to the athletes ranked top three of each event respectively. In order to participate in this said Federation Cup, all players need to register with a Indian Pencak Silat Federation by completing the IPSF Registration Form & the registration fee s for each player will be Rs 200/- Only. Players who participate in this National event would be bound by the regulations and cannot play for any other State Team at any other National level tournament without the NOC from respective state head in writing. All players are to comply with the age-criteria in Juniors and will be required to submit a valid and certified proof of age along with their team list. (ONLY a Passport, Birth Certificate, Election card & Aadhar Card will be accepted as proof of age). Players who do not provide a valid and certified proof of age will not be allowed to participate in the tournament If any player is found guilty of providing false documents, both the player & team will be held responsible and liable for extremely strict sanctions or penalty. 5 Rules & Regulations The competitions are carried out in accordance with the category rules regulated in the competition regulations and conducted by certified legal and valid technical official of competitions. Pencak Silat competition categories consist of: I. TANDING (Match) category II. TUNGGAL (Single) category III. GANDA (Double) category IV. REGU (Team) category Definition of Each Category 1. TANDING (Match) category is the category of Pencak Silat competition that confronts 2 (two) Pesilat from different teams. Both of them confront each other by using the elements of self-defence and attacking such as defending/avoiding/hitting/attacking the target and dropping the opponent; the use of competition techniques and tactics, stamina and endurance, and fighting spirit, using the principles and using the richness of movement of techniques, 2. TUNGGAL (Single) category is the category of Pencak Silat competition performed by one Pesilat that performs his skill in Jurus Tunggal Baku (Single Compulsory Movement), accurately and firmly, complete soulfully with empty hands and with weapons according to rules and regulations apply for Tunggal category. 3. GANDA (Double) category is the category of Pencak Silat competition which confronts two Pesilat of the same team that performs choreographed technical skills rich of attacking defensive movement of Pencak Silat. The movement of the attacking-defensive movement is performed with a well-planned, effective, aesthetical, powerful and in an orderly series, with empty hands or with weapon according to rules and regulations apply for Ganda category. 4. REGU (Team) category is the category of Pencak Silat competition which is performed by 3 (three) Pesilat from the same team portraying their skills in a compulsory movements correctly, accurately, firmly, complete with expression, synchronize and compact with empty hands according to rules and regulations apply for Regu category Indian Pencak Silat Federation, Malla Pora near Press,Jamia Masjid, Srinagar , Mobile (+91)

Tanding Putri Class A 45kg up to 50kg Class B over 50kg up to 55kg Class C over 55kg up to 60kg Class D over 60kg up to 65kg Class E over 65kg up to 70kg Class F over 70kg up to 75kg REGU (Team) consists of: Regu Putra (Male Team) Regu Putri (Female Team) Match Rounds and Time A match is carried out in 3 (three) rounds Each round takes exactly 2 (two) minutes net Between rounds there is a one-minute net rest Moments when the Referee stops the match are not included in the match time. (The counting towards a Pesilat, Who is knock-downed due to a valid attack is not included in the match time)
