As an active transportation planner at a transit agency, she is focused on addressing first and last mile solutions to broaden the reach of transit. In addition to managing the Bike/Bus Interface Study, she helped launch the debut of Metro Bike Share in Downtown Los Angeles and has also worked on the recent expansions bringing the total to 120 stations and 1,400 bicycles in the system. She is overseeing the development of the next Metro Bike Hub, a secure bike parking facility for about 200 bikes at Union Station. Growing up in a car dependent Los Angeles in the 1980s and 90s, she is now thrilled to commute daily by bus, bike and/or train. 2

3 Today s Webinar Presenters Andy Kosinski specializes in transit projects, and serves as Project Manager for service planning, transit engineering, and complete street design efforts out of the Fehr & Peers San Francisco office. Andy recently served as contributor to the NACTO Transit Street Design Guide and as co author of ITE s accompanying Application Supplement to the Guide. Andy s broad experience in the fields of engineering and planning allows him to bring a truly multidisciplined approach to solve transit problems. He has lived in the Bay Area, car free, for nearly a decade, and enjoys riding transit with his one year old daughter, but they have yet to try bicycling together! Today s Webinar Presenters Sandra Clarey, Senior Transit Planner/Project Manager, McMahon Associates, has over 13 years of experience in multimodal transportation planning in the U.S., Ireland, and Australia, including 4 years of service planning at MBTA. Sandra specializes in transit planning and design for bus operations. She developed bus stop design guidelines for RIPTA and MBTA, and has planned and designed over a thousand bus stops for a variety of clients. Sandra has presented on bus stop design at GrowSmart RI and Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association (PPTA) conferences and will present at the upcoming Southern New England American Planners Association (SNEAPA) conference. She is a member of the NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA), and received her Master s in Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin, Ireland.
