5 PROJECT OBJECTIVES Develop a Transportation and Economic Plan for the 95 th Street Corridor Improve public transit efficiency and connectivity throughout the corridor Support working towards the fulfillment of goals set forth in the Pace Vision 2020 Plan

6 POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES OF CORRIDOR Established transit routes and connections to other services Diverse community destinations Mix of land uses across the corridor Wide transportation corridor (7 lane cross section) with access to I-294 Traffic flows reasonably well

7 IMPROVEMENT AREAS Enhance streetscape, pedestrian and cycling environments Priority for transit (signal priority, queue jump) Transit operations improve on-time performance, designated stops, and amenities Improve sidewalk connectivity and accessibility to community destinations Combine multiple driveways to properties along 95 th Street where possible to reduce pedestrian/auto conflicts Improve crossings at intersections and provide screening between the sidewalk and travel lanes
