2 PROJECT OBJECTIVES Develop a Transportation and Economic Plan for the 95 th Street Corridor Improve public transit efficiency and connectivity throughout the corridor Support working towards the fulfillment of goals set forth in the Pace Vision 2020 Plan

29 INTERSECTION PERFORMANCE Minimal or low levels of delay and queuing Intermittent waiting through more than one signal, occasional backups Intersection fills to, or may exceed capacity, may have long queues, delays, and traffic Traffic generally flows well through the corridor Busiest intersections are Western, Cicero, and Ridgeland Experience most delays for left turns and through traffic Train crossings to the north and east of Cicero affect traffic flow

39 RIDGELAND AVENUE CORRIDOR Enhanced bike and pedestrian network that includes various typologies for bike facilities and crossing New two-way multi-use path is along the entire corridor requiring lane width reductions Pace bus stops to be located on the far side of intersections and to improve signage and amenities.
