1 July 13, 3, 26, , , ,3, July 6th, Campus Alerts SBVC: Neighborhood Parking Restrictions None Escort Services: At night the SBCCD PD is here to help you get to your car safely. If you need an escort, call us at : At the City of San Bernardino City Council meeting on May 6, 2013, a unanimous decision prompted by residents in the neighborhood around San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) led to the development of a resident parking by permit only restriction on many streets surrounding SBVC. In June 2013, signs like the one pictured on the right were erected on Esperanza Street, Eureka Avenue, Hazel Avenue, K Street and Mission Drive. As a result, the City of San Bernardino has been enforcing the new policy. (See Map On Next Page) Important Reminders If you are a student or staff member parking on campus, make sure you have your parking permit visible in your window to avoid a citation. Enforcement in student lots start Monday, 29th. If you have lost something within the last couple of months, come by the Police Department to check the lost and found. Before you leave your vehicle, check your doors to make sure they are locked and all windows are secured. Also, keep all valuable items out of sight. If you see any suspicious activity, report it immediately to the SBCCD Police Department at (909) MISSON STATEMENT The SBCCD Police Department, in concert with the Board of Trustees, is committed to providing a safe and secure learning and working environment for all students and employees. This will be accomplished through a cooperative and coordinated effort involving all departments and the SBCCD employees, law enforcement agencies and the community.
