Continue down the Friedrichstraße until you reach the 4 th intersection (there is a Douglas on the left at this corner). This is a parkway meaning both lanes are divided, it is called Unter den Linden. Do not cross remaining on this side. Continue down Unter den Linden for 450+ meters then take the 4 th right onto Friedrichstraße. At the End of the street you will see a large overpass that has the words, DB- Bahnhof Friedrichstraße- S on it, head towards this. Continue down Friedrichstraße until you reach the Station itself (at the McDonalds ). Enter the station and walk through the length of it, passing in between shops like EDEKA and Burger King ) looking for signs for the The entrance for the S1 is a set of stairs leading down on the far end of the station on the right side, next to Dunkin Donuts, walk down these stairs. 3 Follow signs for the S3, the S5, the S7, and the S9. (Upstairs) Board the S3 (direction Board the S3 (direction Spandau), the S5 (direction Westkreuz), the S7 (direction Potsdam Hbf), or the S9 (Direction Spandau). Get off after 4 stops at Zoologischer Garten Berlin. Descend the stairs and take the hallway toward the mural with elephants and bears. Turn right at the mural exit the station on the side with Spar Express towards the large parking lot filled with taxis and buses. On the wall of the building facing you there should be a large sign with a giraffe on it. Cross this parking lot to the sign with the giraffe, continue the way it is pointing (left) for 150+ meters. Enter the zoo by turning right. End: Berlin Zoo (Zoologischer Garden Berlin), Hardenbergplatz 8, Berlin Friedrichstraße à Jewish Museum (Jüdisches Museum Berlin), Begin: At the S- bahn Station Friedrichstraße Follow signs for the U6. You need to go through the entire length of the station and even cross the Friedrichstraße to the other half of the station to get to the U- bahn station. Go down the stairs to the U- bahn platform. Board the U6 (direction Alt- Mariendorf). Get off after 3 stops at Kochstraße. Follow signs for the Ausgang Friedrichstraße; avoid those for Checkpoint Charlie. You should exit in the middle of the street, cross to be on the left side (on which there is the beautiful façade of the Hotel Angleterre. Go down Friedrichstraße for about 500 meters until you reach the second left. Take the second left (between the glass building and the cellphone store) onto a side street (merely called the crosswalk). Continue down this street until it ends as it hits the Lindenstraße. Cross the Lindenstraße. You are now standing in front of a grey building with walls that seem to be missing chunks. This is the Jewish Museum of Berlin. End: GDR Museum (DDR Museum) A&O Hostel à German History Museum Begin: S- bahn Station Ostbahnhof Get off after 4 stops at Friedrichstraße, follow signs for the Ausgang Friedrichstraße; go down the stairs to ground level. Turn right onto the street (you should have the river in front of you and the TV Tower at your back). Cross the river and walk by the Berliner Dom. On your side of the street there should be a bus stop, marked by a pole with a large H sign mounted on it, it is called Lustgarten. Board the 200 Bus (direction S+U Zoologischer Garten via Potsdamer Platz). Get off after 11 stops at S+U Potsdamer Platz. You will be standing in the middle of a plaza surrounded by buildings. Stay on this side of the plaza. Cross the green area to the buildings. Next to the Salvador Dali Gallery you will see the Spy Museum. The windows are outlined in green. End: Spy Museum, Leipziger Pl. 9, Berlin BBIS à Jewish Museum à German Museum of Technology Get off after 13 stops at Anhalter Bahnhof, follow signs for the Ausgang Anhalter Bahnhof, Stressemanstraße, Askanischer Platz. Ideally you should be at the corner of the Stressemanstraße and Schöneberger Straße. Turn right to go down the Stressemanstraße. You should be on the side of the street with the old façade of the station and it should be on your right as you go down the street. Continue down the Stressemanstraße for about 200 meters until you see the first street on the left side. Cross over and onto the Hedemannstraße (you will see a line of trash containers for disposing of glass at the entrance to the street.)

6 Go down the Hedemannstraße for 200 meters until you reach the Wilhelmstraße. Cross and turn right onto the Wilhelmstraße. Go down the Wilhelmstraße and take the first left to go under the large triangular arch. Go through the courtyard and the arch on the far end and cross the Friedrichstraße. Turn right, walk about 25 meters and immediately turn left (between the glass building and the cellphone store) onto a side street (merely called the crosswalk). Continue down this street until it ends as it hits the Lindenstraße. Cross the Lindenstraße. You are now standing in front of a grey building with walls that seem to be missing chunks. This is the Jewish Museum of Berlin. Stop: Jewish Museum Berlin (Jüdisches Museum Berlin), Lindenstraße 9-14, Berlin Exit the Jewish Museum onto the Lindenstraße. Turn left onto Lindenstraße. Continue down it for about 500 meters until you reach the water. Cross the bridge to the other side, immediately turn right. Walk along the river for 700 meters until you facing a large building with a plane on the roof. This is the technical museum. End: German Museum of Technology Trebbiner Str. 9, Berlin A&O Hostel à Friedrichstraße Begin: S- bahn Station Ostbahnhof Go down the stairs to get to ground level. End: At the S- bahn Station Friedrichstraße. A&O Hostel à Hotel Adlon à A&O Hostel Begin: Ostbahnhof S- bahn Station Board the S3 (direction Spandau), the S5 (direction Westkreuz), the S7 (direction Potsdam Hbf), or the S9 (direction Spandau). 7 Cross the street, go down the stairs and enter the S- bahn station, Brandenburger Tor. Follow signs for the S1, the S2, and the S25. Board the S1 (direction Oranienburg or Frohnau), or the S2 (direction Bernau). Get off after 1 stop at Friedrichstraße. Climb the stairs, following signs for the S3, S5, S7, S9. (direction Ahrensfelde), and the S9 (direction Flughafen SXF). Get off after 4 stops at Ostbahnhof. End: Ostbahnhof S- bahn Station A&O Hostel à Berlin Brandenburg International School (Zehlendorf) Begin: Ostbahnhof S- bahn Station Follow signs for the S1, the S2, and the S25. You should be standing next to an eatery named: Relax Food & You. Continue down the street the way you are facing (with Relax Food & You at your right) for about 50 meters.
