2 Thank you for your interest in Cheer St. Louis. Cheer St. Louis is the area s newest and largest cheer-only training facility in St. Charles County. Cheer St. Louis will be forming half-season teams for children ages 6-18 years old. No experience is necessary and we accept athletes of all abilities! Beginner to elite, we have a place for you! Registration Instructions: Half-Year Team Information All inclusive price includes: 6 Months of Cheer Training 2 Event Performances Cheerleading Uniform and Bow Practice T-Shirt Discounted Tumbling Class (Optional) Half-season athletes will learn a full routine choreographed to music and will perform at two local events. Cheerleaders will learn stunts, tumbling, jumps, motions, pyramids and dance. Athletes will gain social skills, team building skills, self-confidence, exercise and so much more! (New Customers Only) 1. Go to and click on Registration, fill out form and submit 2. Click on Sign into my portal and select Forgot password or need to get started 3. Follow login instructions and choose Register for a class and select the appropriate Half Year Team for your child s age. 4. Bring the following items to the gym before first practice: Copy of Birth Certificate Tryout Application (end of packet) Release Waiver (end of packet) Pay first payment Registration Instructions: (Current or Returning Customers) Log into Portal and register for the class or Call or stop by the Front Desk

3 Team Placement Cheer St. Louis will have several half-season teams for the season. Team placement is based on age and all athletes are placed on a team. The teams are as follows: Half-Year Team Mini/Youth Ages 6-11 year old Age is based on the child s age as of 8/31/17 Half-Year Team Junior/Senior Ages Age is based on the child s age as of 8/31/17 Parent Meetings Half-season parent meetings are for any parent of a half-season team member or anyone interested in half season. Half-season team meeting will be Tuesday, October, 3 rd at 5:00pm. The meeting is expected to last about 60 minutes. It is strongly recommended a parent attend this meeting if you plan to pursue the half season team. This meeting is for parents, there is no need to bring your children. Closing Dates and Dates to Remember November 23 rd Gym Closed Thanksgiving December 18 th - 26 th Gym Closed December 26 th January 1 st No half season practices April 1st- Gym Closed- Easter Sunday Team Practices Each team will have one practice per week. Practices are as follows: Mini/Youth Team* (ages 6-11): Tuesday 5:45-7pm *This team may split into 2 teams based on size. Junior/Senior Team (ages 12-18): Tuesday 7:30-9pmm Half-year season will start October 10 th and will end on April 12 th.

4 Tuition and Payments Annual Registration- Cheer St. Louis members will pay an annual registration fee once yearly. This fee is paid each year on the month you joined the Cheer St. Louis family. The annual registration fees are $40 per athlete or $55 per family. Monthly Tuition- The monthly tuition includes their weekly practice, uniform, practice T- Shirt, competition entry fees for athlete. Mini/Youth: $130 Junior/Senior: $140 All-Inclusive Pricing No Additional Fees! (Does not include annual registration fee) Performance Dates: LIVE! St. Louis March 3 rd, 2018 Mardi Gras Nationals St. Louis April 8 th, 2018 Optional Tumbling: Tumbling is a major part of cheerleading. Tumbling will not be taught during half season practice times, for all the time will be spent preparing their routine and perfecting the elements in it. Cheer St. Louis will be offering a discounted tumbling class for athletes in the half season program. The times and additional cost are as follows: Tuesday 5-5:45pm - $45 Monthly and/or Thursday 5:15-6:00pm - $45 Monthly Athletes in the half season tumbling must enroll in tumbling via the parent portal or front desk. Athletes will be required to stay in the tumbling class for the entire month. There are no tuition prorates or refunds for dropping tumbling class. There are no make-ups for missed tumbling classes. Athletes requesting to join tumbling after the start of the first class will be based on availability. Tumbling is a first come first serve basis and space is limited. Tumbling classes may split into separate groups based on age and ability of athletes enrolled.

5 Payment Schedule: Six equal installments will be paid. All teams will be required to register for auto draft payments through the Jackrabbit Class Program, Payments will be made October-March. The payment schedule is listed below for your convenience. 1 st Payment: Before first practice (commitment fee)** 2 nd Payment: November 15 th auto draft 3 rd Payment: December 15 th auto draft 4 th Payment: January 15 th auto draft 5 th Payment: February 15 th auto draft 6 th Payment: March 15 th auto draft Annual Registration- Due upon becoming a member of Cheer St. Louis, and each year in the anniversary month of becoming a member. *All fees are nonrefundable. Insufficient funds fee of $35 per transaction will be added. Past due accounts will be given 72 hours to be brought into good standings. Athletes with past due accounts beyond 72 hours will not be allowed to participate. Fees, including tuition, are not prorated for non-attendance, non-participation, canceled practices or events of any kind. No refunds. No make-ups. Accounts with excessive insufficient funds transactions (more then 2 times per season) or invalid credit card will incur an additional $50 fee month. Arrangements for tuition fees must be made in writing 24 hours prior to the auto pay date listed above. ** The first payment will not be auto drafted. Parents must make the first payment themselves prior to the first practice by cash, check or auto pay online or at the front desk. Paid in Full Discount Making payment in full before the first practice will lower team tuition by 10%. The 10% discount breakdown is below: Mini/Youth: Junior/Senior: $130 X 6= $780 $140 X 6= $840 10% discount= $78 10% discount= $84 Amount paid in full: $702 Amount paid in full: $756

6 Tumbling classes are already discounted for half season team members; therefore, there is not a pay in full discount. Tumbling paid in full fees are $270 *All fees are nonrefundable. Expectations, Guidelines and Rules Attendance Policy Cheer St. Louis takes pride in being very organized with practices, events and schedules. All practices, events and schedules will be communicated well ahead of time. If an athlete misses more than four practices, they will no longer be allowed to perform with their team. Anytime a cheerleader misses a practice, or is unable to participate regardless of reason, it is counted as an absence. Please plan accordingly, including family vacations, school concerts, family functions, weddings, long distance driving, recitals, birthdays, dances, etc. In the event your child can attend practice, but not participate, please send them. This will allow them to keep up on the material taught and changes made. If your child is contagious, please keep them home. In the event your athlete does not participate in a performance or event, regardless of reason, all fees are nonrefundable. Athlete accounts are expected to be up to date regardless of participation. Required practices are those 1-week (7 days) prior to a performance/event. Coaches may adjust required practices as needed for team success. 100% attendance by all team members is required for performance week. Athletes not in attendance at required practice will not be allowed to participate in the performance regardless of reason. In the event that an athlete is injured outside of Cheer St. Louis, please communicate with the coach ASAP. Please understand that coaches need notice to adjust routines if athletes cannot participate. Please understand that when an athlete is removed from a routine regardless of reason (i.e. injury, absences, behavior, etc.) and if they are expected to go back into the routine at some point, they will be placed in the routine per the coach s discretion. They will be placed in a position that is safe and best for all team members. Performance attendance is mandatory by all team members.

7 At Cheer St. Louis we understand unexpected things happen and some conflicts with schedules are unavoidable. Please understand communication is key! If you have a conflict with any practice date, required practice, performance or event, please communicate with the coaching staff early! We will do our best to work with you on schedules for unforeseen and rare circumstances. With that, no cheerleader will be allowed to participate in performance if they missed that weeks required practice. Inclement Weather In the event the gym is closed due to inclement weather this information will be communicated via social media and Practice Athletes are expected to have appropriate practice attire for every practice. Appropriate attire for team practice is the current season s practice T- shirt and black shorts. In order to protect each athlete, and ensure his or her safety, no jewelry is allowed. No jewelry or piercings may be covered with tape, bandages or any other covering. No excessively long fingernails. Parents are welcome to view practices from the parent viewing areas. No one other than athletes and staff members are allowed inside the gym workout area, for everyone s safety, unless invited into the gym. Parents are expected to keep a positive atmosphere in the parent viewing areas. No parent coaching is allowed. Cell phones must be turned off or silent during practice to minimize distractions.
