3 You are either a Member or a Guest THE PRIVATE POLICY (For the protection of our tax-free status and Constitutional Right of Privacy.) All active members of the Order shall be admitted to the Social Quarters of any Lodge of the Loyal Order of Moose unless his/her privileges have been suspended in accordance with the General Laws of the Order. Only the following persons may be admitted as a qualified guest into the Social Quarters or home of any Lodge of the Order: A. An active Lodge or Chapter member s spouse. (Note there are not limits on the number of times a spouse may be admitted as a guest.) B. An active Lodge or Chapter member s immediate family. (Note There are no limits on the number of times a spouse or qualified family member under the age of 21 may be admitted as a guest, however, all other immediate family members would be limited to two visits as they now qualify as a prospective member if the person signing them into the social quarters.) C. A prospective member is defined as any guest that is accompanied by a member who can sponsor them for membership in the Order, with the exception listed in A. As permitted by the House Committee, a prospective member may be admitted subject to the following: 1. The prospective member is accompanied at all times by his/her sponsor. 2. The prospective member is properly signed in as a guest. 3. The prospective member shall not make purchases. 4. The prospective member shall leave when his/her sponsor leaves. 5. The prospective member shall be limited to two (2) visits. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests. The term guest includes nonmember spouses. Inactive members (i.e., in arrears on payment of dues but not dropped) may not enter any Lodge, even as a guest. Expelled members shall not enter any Lodge or Social Quarters as a guest or otherwise except by dispensation of the General Governor. Only members, whose active membership has been verified, are permitted to make purchases, and before making a purchase each day, each member shall display his/her membership card. Using the Social Quarters for any Lodge or Chapter community service activity is prohibited. Gentlemanly/ladylike and orderly conduct is required of all persons at all times. The House Committee is required by the Laws of the Order to enforce all rules and regulations and maintain proper decorum. Indecent, profane, violent or other inappropriate conduct is absolutely prohibited. A member s social privileges in a Lodge may be suspended by the House Committee of the Lodge pending a hearing and final decision of the House Committee in accordance with the General Laws. The House Committee determines Social Quarters hours. At the hours designated for closing, all persons shall vacate the Social Quarters. The admission of minors is subject to compliance with all local laws and according to rules established by the House Committee. No illegal activity shall take place in the Social Quarters at any time. No person in a state of intoxication as determined by a server shall be allowed to enter or remain in any Social Quarters or home maintained or operated by any Lodge. Any member other than a law enforcement officer in the line of duty possessing an unapproved firearm or other deadly weapon on Lodge property shall be expelled. These admission rules do not change the authority of the House Committee as provided by the General Laws. Additional information is provided regarding suspended and expelled members, and undesirable individuals. Questions concerning this Private Policy should be directed to a Lodge Officer or House Committee Member. Hello Brothers and Sisters, Mooseheart Children will be at the Stillwater Lodge!!! During Moose Legion weekend on Saturday, July 21st we will have all four of the Oklahoma children that are in Mooseheart present in our Stillwater lodge. Our guests of honor that day will be: Patricia Jane Parella (PJ) She will be a freshman in high school next year and on her next birthday August 19th. She will be 14 years old. Calli Lynn Duble Calli is 11 years old and her birthday is April 23rd. She will be going into the 6th grade. Oklahoma is proud to sponsor a set of twins at Mooseheart: Casin Don Parella and James Fisher Parella, they will be going into the 2nd grade next year and on their next birthday July 24th they will turn 7 years old!! Our Mooseheart children will be at our Stillwater Moose Lodge from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. please stop by and meet them. THIS IS WHAT BEING A MOOSE IS ABOUT!! Bring them a birthday present to the lodge as we will not be with them on their birthdays!! PJ s clothes sizes are: size ladies small to medium top, and misses 4 in bottoms, size 8 shoes Calli s clothes sizes are: shoes women s size 6 ½, and clothes size 14. Casin and James sizes are: Size 8 tops and bottoms or medium in boys Casin size 2 shoes and Fisher size 1 shoes. Come out and meet our Oklahoma Children from Mooseheart just to say hello. 4 From the Senior Regent Hello Moose Family: Our June Rib Dinner was a success. Thank you to everyone that helped and that came out to enjoy the Ribs and social time. Can t wait until next time. As you all know Moose International in New Orleans is from July 11th to July 15th. As your Senior Regent I will be in New Orleans from July 10th through July 15th. Don t Forget July 20th through July 22 is Moose Legion here at our Moose Lodge. Please remember there will be No Smoking in our lodge during this celebration. I know we will make our Lodge proud. Looking forward to a fun and exciting July. I hope everyone has a great month. Also prayers for Cala and Kyle Kilby who were involved in a serious motorcycle accident recently. Also Trish Bastion had knee surgery and is doing well. If I have forgotten anyone please let me know. The Private Concept The Lodge Home and Social Quarters will not be let out nor rented out to nonmembers or organizations. Community service and use of the Lodge facilities for family purposes requires dispensation from the General Governor. Qualified guests are admitted as follows: A good standing chapter member A good standing member s family The lady friend of a good standing member A prospective member accompanied by his sponsor provided that: He is signed in as a guest He is not permitted to purchase He leaves when his sponsor leaves His 3 rd visit must be for orientation or enrollment Only good standing lodge and chapter members possessing valid membership cards are permitted to make purchases. Before making a purchase EACH DAY, the member shall display His or Her membership card for making any purchase! Children will be allowed in the lodge on Friday and Saturday nights until 10:30 pm.
