The lodge is BOOMING on Monday nights. Our WOTM dart league is taking place and they get the place rocking! I counted over 20 WOTM members there last Monday, not sure if they were all playing or not but everyone was having a good time. Whoever started the WOTM league on Monday nights was a genius. And Friday nights our mixed dart league always has a packed house. If anyone is interested in starting another shuffle board league let us know. On Saturday nights we still have karaoke at 8:00 pm if you feel like showing off your vocal talent. Check out the Moose News calendar for all of the events. On June 9th we are selling racks of ribs again for a fundraiser to help pay for the July Whodunit Dinner Theatre that will be held during Moose Legion. Buy your $18 tickets in advance for the Murder Mystery as they will probably sell out. Everyone will have to also register for the Moose Legion weekend for only a mere $5.00 to take part in the dinner and a murder. If anyone has experience driving a 12 passenger van please sign up to help us out in November. On Thursday November 8th thru Sunday November 11th Oklahoma Sooner Moose Legion is hosting a National convention in Oklahoma City. We are expecting anywhere from 300 to 500 Moose Legion members from across the Nation. We plan on renting 5 vans to transport them around OKC. On Saturday night, November 10th plan on attending the National Moose Legion Banquet at Remington Park. The banquet will be during the night races and everyone will be able to watch out the windows. The Sooner Moose Legion will have one of the races that night named after us. 4 From the Senior Regent Hello Moose Family: May has come and gone. Our Mother s Day Celebration was a huge success. Thank you to all the ladies. The food was great, as usual. Thank you Tina Johnson and her crew. June is going to be an exciting month. Come out on Thursday s to have some fun with Trivia. You could win some awesome prizes. Also, if we get enough people to sign up for Shuffleboard we could start playing again so come on out and sign up. There are cash prizes for winners in Shuffleboard as well. It is a lot of fun. Tina Johnson lost her sister-in-law late last month. Vanesa Bastion, Les Bastion, Rick Bastion s mom and Tina Johnson s sister were in the hospital with heart issues. She is doing much better now and is in rehab. Please keep them in your prayers. Candice Bayliss lost her aunt recently. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as well. Rudy Helm recently had knee surgery. He is home and doing well. I talked to Rudy and Linda they miss everyone and he is doing well. Debra Long s aunt fell and broke her hip, prayers for fast healing.
