The entire breast area must be completely covered with solid fabric including the space between the breasts. (Hints: Ensuring that there is solid material from the top crease of the armpit and lower will ensure compliance. Straps are not required, but on some dress styles, they prevent a dress from shifting downward and becoming out of compliance.) 2. Midriff must be completely covered (mesh or shear material is not acceptable if a two piece, must be sewn)(no nude/skin colored fabric is to be worn to cover openings) 3. No open backs or sides (Solid material that is same color as the dress must cover the sides of the body and entire back from the bottom of the shoulder blades and lower) 4. The hemline or the highest point of a slit in the dress at the bottom must extend to within a credit card length from the top of the knee (most have a credit card when shopping so it will be an easy gauge to help determine if length is acceptable) The hemline point must be a solid material - Leggings and tights are an accessory and not considered outer apparel All students must remain in dress code compliance throughout the entire evening. It is highly recommended to get pre-approval for your outfits for our formal dances. Attire must be formal. (costumes will not be allowed i.e., retro or vintage suits) Please refrain from excessively tight clothing. FFA Week Canned Food Drive Bishop Neumann FFA and Student Council are challenging the students of Bishop Neumann to a canned food drive challenge. Each homerooms will collect cans of food from February 13 th February 22 nd. On the 22 nd FFA members and Student Council members will collect the food collected from each homeroom and count all the Non-Expired contributions. The wining homeroom will receive doughnuts. The food collected throughout this week will be donated to the Saunders County Food Pantry. Neumann Homerooms: If you accept the challenge, you can earn rewards If your homeroom collects 100 cans of food, you will earn a $1 jean day. The money earned on the jean day will also be donated to the food pantry. 2. If your homeroom collects 150 cans of food, you will earn a free jean day. 3. The homeroom that collects the most overall cans (as long as it is above 100) will also receive donuts from the Student Council.
3 However, if you accept the homeroom challenge, but do not collect at least 100 cans, you pledge not to eat any food in your homeroom for the entire 4 th quarter. The idea is that if we can t take the time to collect food for those in need, then we don t need to feed ourselves either. As a homeroom teacher, I am asking that you let the students store the collected food in your room, and also that you hold your homeroom accountable if they accept the challenge and do not meet the 100 can goal. At the end of each week FFA and Student Council members will come remove the collected food. I hope you will all encourage your homerooms to accept the challenge. If you have any suggestions for improvement or concerns, please let me know.
