6 Royal BC Museum Free Coupon for Youth Admission The Royal BC Museum is offering students (ages 6-18) free admission to the museum with the purchase of one adult admission. It s a great opportunity to check out the feature exhibition Family: Bonds and Belonging and other exciting programs. The attached coupon can stand alone, as all redemption details are printed on the bottom of the coupon. The original coupon, or a reasonable facsimile, will be accepted for redemption. To learn more about this summer s schedule, please visit the Royal BC Museum s website at The Amazing Selfie Race The "Amazing Selfie Race" will be held on July 1st starting at 2:30 pm and ending at 3:30 pm in Lebourdais Park. Registration forms can be picked up at City Hall, Eiffle Flowers and at the park on Canada Day. This Amazing Selfie Race, as you can tell by its name, has a little twist... each team will have to take a team selfie, ensuring that all team members are in the picture and post them on #Quesnel150. Where do they take these pictures... At the beginning of the race each team will be given a clue that will lead them to a location/station within walking distance from Lebourdais Park. Once at the station, they will have to complete a challenge and take a team selfie, post that selfie on #Quesnel150 and then they will receive a clue to their next location. There are 10 stations in all and each team must post a team selfie on instagram that will be displayed in the live feed at Lebourdais Park. We welcome youth between the ages of 12 and 17 to team up for the Amazing Selfie Race. Registration forms are available on the Canada Day - Quesnel 150 Facebook page or at city hall. All teams must be registered to participate. A grand-prize will be awarded to the first place team. All teams that complete the challenge will receive a participation prize. A little sample of the Amazing Selfie Race: #94 was chartered in 1927; built in the 1930 s, this building is a gathering place for our protectors. The Annex housed Physical Education classes, basketball and badminton games. The first adult dance was held here as well... a Valentines Dance! Teams MUST be registered by 12:30 pm on July 1st in order to take the challenge. 6
