2 President s Message What can you say? Two years of planning and hard work ended in the best Pontiac show people could remember. We may have had a few minor glitches during the show, but the setting, judged show, Elvis, the banquet and our hospitality were overwhelming. We all have to thank Brian and Janet for their dedication and commitment to bringing this together. And, thanks to Greg and Ron for co-chairing the event. There was more than enough work to go around. In fact, we all deserve a pretty good slap on the back for the whole event. I believe the best part of it all is that we all came through relatively unharmed. The club can move ahead with a more hefty treasury and the collective feeling of success plus what I am sure will be long term recognition from our fellow Pontiac clubs for a job more than well done. All we have to do now is tally up the final receipts, pay the bills and enjoy the rest of the fall season. We still have important work to do for the Toys for Tots car show on November 5 and our next annual car show sometime next spring. To move ahead, we do have to take care of some business. We will elect new officers at our meeting on November 14. I would encourage everyone who has never held an office to give it some serious thought. While some may wish to serve another term, we will certainly need a new president, my two years are up. Hope to see all of you at each club event and meeting for the remainder of this year. More later. Andy Continued next page... Minutes of the P.O.C.C September 12, 2005 meeting (thing-ee) n.... Any part under a car's hood.... The strap fastener on a woman's bra. to another. Editors Note: Dennis I m not sure these are the minutes from the September meeting, but then I m not always sure what we discussed either a whole month later. So I will publish them with the thought that you know what you are sending me and we can always vote on it later.... You wear pants don't you?..... Shall we try swapping positions tonight?... For instance, Joel Garrett, actually Judy, volunteered to go to Hilmar, Ca and pick up the seven assorted Gourmet Cheeses cut into cubes to be used for the wine/cheese cruise. Dennis Schwarz went and visited several wineries and received several cases of free wine to supply all the conventioneer people, plus supply the Hospitality Reception.
