1 GR-RRR8 R Wichita Pontiac Club s Monthly Publication July 2016 The July meeting was very interesting!! JR did a great job of demonstrating his Chrome Alternative. Heard comments afterwards of items club members could send through this process. Thank you Nicole for taking minutes in Secretary Pat's absence. The Uprising is coming together. Mike C. has done alot of work, as well as other club members. Thank You all. Prairie Print is doing another AWESOME job on the T-shirts and Total Printing Solutions is doing a great job on the awards. Really looking forward to this year's event. Don't forget "Party in the Park", Saturday the 13th of August, in Great Bend. Will give club members a chance to preview the lay of the land for our Uprising. A must for us Pontiac Enthusiastic is a trip to Pontiac, IL, Sept 17 and 18! The Pontiac-Oakland Museum, the friendliness of a quaint little town, all the awesome cars and their owners, many more museums and much, much more. If you haven't been there you need to go and if you have been, it is a place you will want to revisit. I know I am looking forward to a return visit in September. Who is with us? Adam W. is working on the Poker Run. I am sure it will be fun. Next meeting is August 28th, 1:30 at Jeff Breault's Marquee Motors, 2938 E. Douglas, Wichita. Park in Dillons lot and enter east door. 5 Minutes of the Meeting June 26, 2016 Members Present: (18) plus 4 guests The meeting was called to order about 2:30 pm by V.P. Dave C after a delicious cook out served by Russ S & family at his home. Les L reported the Donation to Gold Star Mothers had been executed & delivered. Dave C brought up meeting location for July. Ray H reported Alternative Chrome Locations would love to have us for a meeting but couldn t do the third Sunday of July. It would need to be the fourth Sunday, July 24 th, 2:00 p.m. in Haysville. This was okayed by members present. Discussion followed regarding the August meeting, but no decision was made. Uprising updates: Les L. reports George DeLorean has declined to be a guest speaker, citing of age and health as his factors. Discussion moved to the admission gate at the uprising. The club gets the monies from the gate, so we need a minimum 3-40 gate volunteers to get waiver forms signed, collect money and answer questions. Gary G. will handle start up cash. Dave C. reminded us of the Augusta Car Show next weekend. Said he was going. It was a really hot and humid day. Pat N. made a motion to adjourn. It was seconded and voted unanimously.
