Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped this Celebration of Dance become a reality. You know who you are and we appreciate you!! Who could have imagined 25 years ago we would be here today? I want to thank everyone who has been involved with the club, supported us, taken lessons and/or workshops, taught with, been a member, danced on the team, or served on the executive over the last 25 years. You all helped make Country Pride what it is today. Those of us who were around when the club started could never have envisioned how many lives Country Pride would touch over the last 25 years. Many of us have shared so many special moments in each others lives. When we thought we couldn't do something, often times the club - the people in the club - pushed and encouraged us to do it and succeed. We all have stories, and memories of what this club means to us. Be sure to share those again this weekend with someone. The club has enriched our lives by giving us all experiences hat we would not have had otherwise. We are very unique as an organization, and with the effort, dedication, and love of dance we have made a difference in our community by influencing the direction of dance. Our club has no model to follow. What we have done, we should be proud of, because it continues to impact people in such a positive way. On behalf of the executive and the club in general I want to welcome everyone to our 25 year Celebration of Dance. Create more memories, catch up with friends, and make new ones. We all have a common bond, and appreciation of dancing in ALL forms, and we all share that passion. Personally I am so proud to represent Country Pride Dance Club n the Red Deer Community and beyond, and am excited for what the future holds and what we can accomplish together.
