11 *************************************** New SAT Electronic Device Collection Policy! Beginning with the October 2017 SAT School Day and weekend SAT administrations, the College Board is requiring supervisors to collect all cell phones and wearable technology from test takers before administering the test. This reflects the College Board s ongoing efforts to enhance the security of the SAT, ensure the integrity of scores delivered to colleges and universities, and protect the honest students who make up the vast majority of test takers. Students are asked not to wear smart watches and to please leave cell phones at home or in their cars if they do not want them taken up. Each classroom has a phone if they need to make a call for pick up after the test is over and students are dismissed. Test administrators will not be held responsible for any electronic devices that are damaged, lost or stolen. Students should be aware that if they bring any type of electronic device to testing it will be taken up before the testing starts.
