This open gym will be offered on March 22 nd from 5:00-6:30 in order for athletes to learn more about the sport and the requirement for participation. There will also be a mandatory meeting on March 22 nd for parents so they, too, know what the expectations are for their student to be a member. Calling all Parent Performers! 5 Dear Meadowdale Families, I officially started recruiting for Battle of the Books 2017 in February of this year by visiting several classrooms and wowing students with some awesome titles and opportunities! I am thrilled to report that already 19 motivated and well-read students have already signed up to compete! We are so proud of our knowledgeable students and even more proud of winning the BOB trophy two years in a row in the District Battle of the Books! We hope to hope to continue our reign and dominate again in the 2017 District Battle of the Books being which will be held in the Scriber HS Library on May 24 th in the AM! It s easy to sign up for the Battle of the Books! Just log onto the school website and scroll seven tabs over to the library tab and select it. Thanks again to all the families who have donated various supplies for the Library. We could still use some more Kleenex for the funky weather colds that linger. Lastly, research projects are on the rise and with that is the need for donated notecards (all sizes welcome), pencils, pens and printer paper that can be recycled. Thanks for all your support of the students at Meadowdale High School! Celebrate Reading, Mrs. Borchert and Mrs. Burns at Meadowdale High School Pictures from the Read Across America Celebration in downtown Edmonds was a huge success due to many Maverick Key Clubbers! Thank you Key Clubbers for all your hard work during Dr. Seuss day in downtown Edmonds. You made a lot of kids very happy with your face painting, prizes, smiles and games!
