1 Monthly Newsletter of Olivedale Senior Center The Oak Leaf December 2013 Volume 41,, Issue 12 Trashy Woman They are all shook up. Olivedale was well represented at the Fairfield County Fair. The Boot Scooters started at 11:00a at the Grand Stand. The dancers entertained with Elvis moves to Jail House Rock and then proceeded to reveal Why I Like My Women A Little On Olivedale Boot Scooters the Trashy Side. All the groups made Olivedale proud. In the little white church was the very popular Olivedale Kitchen Band. After greeting the crowd with their starting song Hello, they performed their many old time favorites including some of the best jokes ever in between. Humor and singing songs that are old but never forgotten, are some of the reasons why this group is so loved. They placed a bonnet on Don Lemley s head and sang Baby Face to get him in the act. They closed their program with He s got the cutest little baby patriotic tunes, waving their flags with honor. As the Kitchen Band exited the church, Olivedale Kitchen Band the Happy Harps started their show. This group is made up of men and women who like to play harmonicas. With the help of a keyboard, guitar, spoons and harpsichord this group entertained with gospel and folk tunes that always delight. The fair is a wonderful place to view Olivedale s wonderful entertainment groups all in one stop. See you next year! Olivedale Happy Harps
