The VaughanTown staff VaughanTown Coordinator Wondering who has been and will be nagging you with s and other form of communications? That would be Mayte Ziga. Our VaughanTown Coordinator who makes everything happen! She hails from Manila, Philippines. She came to Madrid to study Spanish and got stuck here. Eventually she learned Spanish and has been at Vaughan Systems since 2005 and two years later, she was involved with VaughanTown. She is the Wikipedia of VaughanTown, if you have questions of any kind about the program, she will be the person to ask, that is if you do not mind a clogged inbox. Despite all this, she does have a sense of humor, at times possibly inappropriate, but you will enjoy her company and she will take good care of you. Program Directors During your stay at VaughanTown, the program directors would be your Mr. Wolf (for those of you who have seen Pulp Fiction). They will help you sort out any questions, concerns and problems that might arise during VaughanTown. The program directors are there to make sure everything runs smoothly. Don t worry, unlike Mr. Wolf, there is no charge for the service. Carmen Villa: Our local program director and a childhood friend of Richard Vaughan. She speaks English as well as any anglo! Born in Sevilla, she has lived in Chile for 25 years. She has been involved with VaughanTown since September She might be small, but she is feisty! She will be your greatest ally if you keep yourself on her good side! Mayte Ziga: Doubling as a program director once in a while, she really just uses this as an excuse to get away from the office to get some R + R. If you are ever caught being in her proximity, make sure you take control of the topic of conversation! Carlota Romero: Born and raised in Madrid, she joined us in summer of 2012 having heard about VaughanTown from Pete. She has has lived in different countries like Canada, England and France. Despite her rocky start in VaughanTown arriving late to the meeting point in her first program, it has been smooth sailing since! We also heard that the alarm has been thrown away and is being kicked around under a bridge somewhere in Madrid. Your Program Director and Master of Ceremonies will be your confidants and trouble-shooters during the week. You will work together to make the most of the program. Without these three components, VaughanTown would not possible. And that is the VaughanTown Team!

In the next few newsletters you will receive a thorough description of VaughanTown, the facilities, rooms, activities and more, so sit tight... In the meantime, a few reminders: 1. TRAVEL DETAILS: For those who haven t yet done so, please send in your travel details to anglos@vaughantown.com 2. HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Are you all set with accommodations for the days you are not in VaughanTown? Please keep in mind that we are NOT travel agents. You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations for before and after the program if you need to do so. trusting nature and let us know well in advance if, for whatever reason, you will not be able to make it to the program. A last minute cancellation, even of only one participant, can require a total mobilization of our office and fast-paced overtime work. We d prefer to avoid it, so please let us know.
