Miss Tara would LOVE to have you! MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO IN MARCH 1. If you are placing an ad in the program book, please have it type set & ed no later than Thursday, March 15 by 8:30 p.m. 2. Invite family and friends to an informal visitor s week April Don t forget to bring a chair and your video camera to record your dancer s recital dance! 3. Check your mid-march to know what tights, shoes, etc. will be needed for April s picture week (April 15 April 19) and PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! COSTUME UPDATE Please remember, as we receive all costumes, they will be tried on by the dancers, adjusted/altered and then become available to take home. Once you receive your costumes, they are your responsibility so please keep all pieces together and put away. Costumes CANNOT be replaced. Thank you! Any remaining costumes (for dancers that enrolled after January 1) will be passed out as we receive them. **Attention Dancers that enrolled after January 1, your costumes may arrive significantly later than those ordered before Christmas. We will do our best to let you borrow one from another dancer for individual pictures and make you a part of the group photo. If you have any questions, please see Courtney at the front desk. Thank you! WAY TO GO! WE ARE SO PROUD!! Great job to all 6 competitive companies for representing Top Hat Talent with flying colors at Tribute Claremore competition! Good Luck to them at Talent on Parade OKC at Rose State, Mark of Excellence OKC at Oklahoma City Community College and Stage One OKC at Rose State! Is your dancer LOVING dance and has the interest to take it to the next level? Come watch what our dancers are putting on stage at any of the next three regional competitions all in town! Just go to our website go to the competitive tab, click on the competition schedule and see the days/times of all our THT family performing that particular weekend. Most schedules are available the week prior to the competition weekend. We would LOVE to see you there! RECITAL INFORMATION As a reminder, our dress rehearsals will be held on Tuesday, May 29 & Thursday, May 31 and our recitals will be held on Friday, June 1 & Saturday, June 2 at Westmoore High School Auditorium (12613 S. Western). The recital times are as follows: Thursday classes will 6:00 on Friday, June 1. Dress rehearsal on Tuesday, May 6:00. Monday & Tuesday classes will 10 am on Saturday, June 2. Dress rehearsal on Thursday, May 6:00. Wednesday Classes will 4 pm on Saturday, June 2. Dress rehearsal on Thursday, May 6:00. VISITOR S WEEK Watch your dancer s class April 9-12 to see their progress. Don t forget your still or video camera! Please note no seating will be available, but feel free to bring folding chairs. Thanks!

2 PROGRAM BOOK ADS Have your dancer featured in our 2018 souvenir recital book! Complete ads and payments are due by Thursday, March 15 at 8:30 p.m. All recreational classes have prepaid (as included in your enrollment fee) for one ½ page group ad in one costume. If any additional group photos/ads are wanted, they must be paid for additionally. REMINDER: All competition dancers (company, mini pre-company & recreational company) MUST sell one $30 business card size ad. See a sample at the front desk! HAVE YOUR NEXT BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THT! The perfect place to hold your next birthday party! Let our staff handle your energetic child and his/her friends as we provide an hour of uninterrupted dance instruction in our state of the art facility. YOU CHOOSE which style of dance you would like for your dream dance party AND your party theme! We offer ballet princess, hip hop diva, pom pon or runway model party. For one full hour we will entertain your party friends with a full dance class, dress up costumes and end with our Disco Light Dance Party! Top Hat Talent provides fun for your child and party friends while taking the stress off you! Your dance party is always private and your dream dance party gets 100% of our attention and shared knowledge! We will not take any chances on the safety of our dance family! CONGRATULATIONS -Kaitlyn Tinsley, Kayla Tinsley - They received Letters of Intent for UCO Pom! -Brooklynn Hoehne and Olivia Nix (Westmoore Varsity Pom) - Regional Champions in Jazz and Hip Hop, Highest score overall in Hip Hop and Crowd Appeal Award at DTU regionals -Sydnee Michael (Company West Pom) - Regional Champions at DTU regionals -Emily Newman, Avery Pierce and THT alumni McKenna Mitchell for attending OU Prep classes in preparation for OU Pom tryouts! -THT alumni Taylor Jones as she finishes up her last semester in the OCU dance department and has been attending auditions each week! Current status - was chosen to be on the Hire List for both Celebrity and Norwegian Cruise Lines!!! The next few weeks...princess Cruise Lines audition and Disney World audition! -Alyana Kidd as she attended Soul de Soul in Tulsa and received a scholarship! -Kennedy Mackerelle - featured dancer in Westmoore's rendition of The Little Mermaid March 9th-11th -Ally Nichols - featured performer in Southmoore's rendition of Cinderella March 1st-3rd -Brooklynn Hoehne and Olivia Nix - DTU Pom Nationals in Florida 2018 DTU Large Varsity Jazz NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and second in the nation in Large Varsity Hip-Hop!! -Zoey Wilmoth for placing High Gold and 3rd in category at Celebrity this past weekend! -Avery Pierce, Hallie Shaw, Maddie Shaw and Vivian Taylor for winning 5th overall in both Hip Hop and Mix at NDA Pom Nationals in Florida this past weekend! 3 PICTURE WEEK SCHEDULE MARCH 25 TH, APRIL 16 TH -APRIL 19 TH, AND MAY 4 TH AT TOP HAT TALENT Welcome Spotlight Photography to our studio family! We re blessed to have the BEST in recital photography showcasing our dancers and their talent. Here are some quick reminders =Please note that some picture times are not during your regular class time! =The time you come for your picture is in the left hand column & the class day/time follows to the right with the ORDER of the costumes alongside it =Please be dressed in the order costumes are listed and ARRIVE 15 early to fill out paperwork if you plan to purchase pictures which must be done that evening. =We will use Studio #2 and #3 for changing areas, set poses in Studio #4 and only dancers, staff and Spotlight professionals in Studio #1 for the actual photos. =The Spotlight staff will have an I-pad showing individual pictures (if you choose to purchase them) IMMEDIATELY following your child s pictures. =Please allow an hour for all classes with one costume and an hour and half for those that have 2 costumes. =Even if you are not purchasing individual photos, we want all our precious THT dance family in the program book and on our lobby wall next season! =All costumes have not arrived. If you do not have your dancer s costume we will be sharing for individual pictures and your dancer will be photo shopped into the group picture. We appreciate everyone s cooperation and willingness to share costumes with their dance friends. Please check the front desk if you have any questions regarding the picture schedule! This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to showcase your child as a memory for years to come.
