Picture dates for recital classes are April Please double check these dates and times for your personal calendar on the attached sheet. All pictures will be taken at Top Hat Talent. The Spotlight Photography price sheet is attached. Don t forget All THT recreational classes will not dance the week of April 16-19, only pictures. Please remember all picture orders must be paid for on the day they are taken. Thank you in advance for double checking your picture time as many of them are not at the normal class time. Thank you! THT customers that owe money on their account can not purchase pictures; however, all dancers are welcome to be a part of the group photos which will be featured in our 2018 souvenir program book! ACCOUNTS PAID IN FULL BY MAY 7 All recital, costume, past tuition and late fees need to be paid in full by May 7 or your child will not be allowed to participate in our recital. Please remember that all costumes & accessories are now your responsibility & cannot be replaced. Thank you! RECITAL NEWS Dress Rehearsals: All rehearsals will be held at Westmoore High School Auditorium. Thursday classes and Tara & Courtney Recreational Company rehearse on Tuesday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m. Monday & Tuesday classes including mini precompany and the Tiny Company combined Hip Hop rehearse on Thursday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday classes rehearse on Thursday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. Recitals: All recitals will be held at Westmoore High School Auditorium. Thursday classes and Tara & Courtney Recreational Company will have their recital on Friday, June 1 at 6:00 p.m. Monday & Tuesday classes including mini precompany and Tiny Company combined Hip Hop will have their recital on Saturday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday classes and Tara & Courtney Recreational Company groups will have their recital on Saturday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. No company numbers will rehearse with the exception of Tiny Company Hip Hop which will be Thursday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. This includes the entire preshow!???question OF THE MONTH??? Do you have to drag your young dancer to class every week? It s okay remember that they are young and at age 4, a nine month hobby is almost ¼ of their entire life. We remind them of how exciting picture week will be. Then they learn the finale to a jazz song and we start practicing in front of other classes to add fun to their weekly session. Don t worry, they ll be great and make you so proud on stage at the recital. Let us know what we can do to help! Also, don t hesitate to video their dances so they can work at home! 2018/2019 CUSTOMERS In preparation for next season, we would like to align our 2018/2019 schedule based on your wants and needs! Please or Facebook message us to sign-up for what you believe your child may be interested in taking for next season. You are by no means held to the classes you choose; however, it will give us a starting point to best assist our 27 th year customers! 2 WHAT ARE MY COMPETITIVE OPTIONS AT THT? We offer 5 competitive outlets for all dancers to take part in during the school year! *Mini Pre-Company = Come to your 1-1/2 hour weekly rehearsal September May. No technique classes required, one competition dance & two additional recital dances, no summer classes required, attend 2 local competitions (January-April). Only open for those who sign-up in May of 2018, so please plan accordingly. See the competition booklet available May 1 for complete details & obligations. *Recreational Company Jazz = Come to your 1-1/2 hour weekly rehearsal September May. Being a part of any of THT s competitive groups provides a unique opportunity to take one s dance talent to the next level by gaining confidence on the competitive stage. WEATHER ADVISORY We are planning on doing whatever we need to keep our dancers safe and out of the weather's harm. WE WILL NOT DECIDE ON CANCELLING CLASSES (or having class) UNTIL 2 P.M. ON THE DAY OF BAD WEATHER. Please stay posted by checking our Facebook page and checking our website! We will not take any chances on the safety of our dance family!

3 TOP HAT TALENT PICTURE WEEK SCHEDULE MARCH 25 TH, APRIL 16 TH -APRIL 19 TH, AND MAY 4 TH AT TOP HAT TALENT Welcome Spotlight Photography to our studio family! We re blessed to have the BEST in recital photography showcasing our dancers and their talent. Here are some quick reminders =Please note that some picture times are not during your regular class time! =The time you come for your picture is in the left hand column & the class day/time follows to the right with the ORDER of the costumes alongside it =Please be dressed in the order costumes are listed and ARRIVE 15 early to fill out paperwork if you plan to purchase pictures which must be done that evening. =We will use Studio #2 and #3 for changing areas, set poses in Studio #4 and only dancers, staff and Spotlight professionals in Studio #1 for the actual photos. =The Spotlight staff will have an I-pad showing individual pictures (if you choose to purchase them) IMMEDIATELY following your child s pictures. =Please allow an hour for all classes with one costume and an hour and half for those that have 2 costumes. =Even if you are not purchasing individual photos, we want all our precious THT dance family in the program book and on our lobby wall next season! =All costumes have not arrived. If you do not have your dancer s costume we will be sharing for individual pictures and your dancer will be photo shopped into the group picture. We appreciate everyone s cooperation and willingness to share costumes with their dance friends. Please check the front desk if you have any questions regarding the picture schedule!
