4 DEKALB HIGH SCHOOL Welcome to DeKalb High School, Home of the Barons! We are pleased to be your host for this event. Here at DHS we believe that a student can be more successful in their academic endeavors by competing in athletics and extra-curricular activities. It provides students with the opportunity to build relationships with other adults and peers, outside of the classroom, in order to support their academic success. We are proud of our coaches and directors as they continually go above and beyond to build teams that compete at high levels while maintaining an atmosphere of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. We ask that you show an attitude of encouragement and respect to honor the time and effort of all students and coaches during this event. They deserve it! Thank you for your ongoing support of our athletic and extra-curricular activities here at DeKalb High School. GO BARONS! Matthew Toth - Principal. The Athletic Department takes great pride in our student athletes as they strive for excellence. We commend all of the athletes for their commitment, teamwork, and their ability to compete while maintaining high expectations for sportsmanship. We ask you as fans to remember both teams and their coaches have spent many hours preparing for this event. Please treat them and the officials with the respect that they deserve. Lastly, enjoy the game, cheer for your team, and support all of the athletes at the end of this contest. Have a great night and Good Luck to both teams. GO BARONS! Chris Rhodes - Athletic Director.
