4 Special Events Macy s Thanksgiving Day Parade We are proud to announce that All Americans, contest solo finalists and award winning officers and teams will have the opportunity to participate in the 2009 Macy s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City with Mike Miller & Associates Special Events, Inc. and televised on NBC. Must be years of age to participate. Deadline is July 1st, Space is extremely limited and may fill prior to deadline. The Captial One Bowl in Orlando, Florida is a favorite destination for All Americans and Honorable Mentions to travel after Christmas and perform at this nationally televised game and halftime. Visit Disney World, Universal Studios and enjoy the Florida sun! Deadline is in September, and space fills quickly. Capital One Bowl Halftime

Curriculum Overview Officer Camp Officer/dance camp offers 3 days of instruction and the chance to learn 16 routines that will challenge your officers and bring their technique to a new level.

5 Curriculum Overview Officer Camp Officer/dance camp offers 3 days of instruction and the chance to learn 16 routines that will challenge your officers and bring their technique to a new level. Innovative workshops will teach them leadership and choreography skills and groom them to be great leaders. Final Evaluation offers the chance for them to reach to new heights to know the feeling of achievement. Officers will have team building and choreography workshops. The Galveston Officer Dance Camp at Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center offers a luxury setting with many destination spots within walking distance of the hotel, including Schlitterbahn, the Rain Forest and IMAX Theater. We also offer the officer camp at the luxurious Crown Plaza Riverwalk in San Antonio. Take your officers to Fiesta, Texas, and SeaWorld and the Riverwalk for a fun getaway. Our newest location is at the Hilton Bella Harbor on beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard just East of Dallas, in a more relaxed setting and minimal preparation for evaluation. Learning is the key word at officer camp! Social Officer Camp We are delighted to offer two locations for Social Officers this year including Hilton Bella Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard and Moody Gardens in Galveston! We offer the chance for social officers to learn several routines, have their own workshops for scrapbooking, event planning, team building and more. They will be furnished with numerous supplies to create many projects that they can display for their evaluation, then take home to resource for their own team. Team Camp Regular Curriculum Each of our team camps including college campus camps, hotel team camps as well as commuter camps, will offer the same fabulous Feature Routines. Teams may choose from over 40 routines that they can learn and bring home for use at pep rallies, football halftimes, special performances, spring show and even competition. Teams are taught technique, team building and will enjoy a special Guest Dance Master night with some of the top choreographers in the country. Team Camp Custom Curriculum Many locations will offer an opportunity for teams to request Custom Choreographed Routines. Directors may submit music to learn from 2-4 custom routines (depending on location and teaching space) that can be used for competition or special performances. Specific instructors may be requested for custom choreography. Private Team Camp Teams may choose to bring our American Staff to their school to present a full curriculum camp in your own home setting. This curriculum will include dances from our Feature Routines, technique workshops, motivation and team building as well as individual and team awards. All private camps are priced on a bid basis to offer you the lowest possible cost. Directors may preview the Visual Notes DVD to choose the routines they want taught at their camp or request custom choreography. H At all Team, Officer, Leadership and Private Camps, directors will receive a complimentary gift from American as well as a DVD of all Feature or Officer Dances, 2 music CD s, routine notes and Directors Handbook H Jazz Camp for Individuals American offers several locations for Jazz Camp that are customized to take the individual dancer to new levels of technique and special dance skills. Many styles of dance will be taught including jazz, character, modern, lyrical, stylized jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance. Special sessions are offered where each student will receive one on one attention from the staff. These are three day commuter camps where each student will receive a music CD and t-shirt and have access to online routine notes and support material for technique. Lunches will be sold on site.

No exceptions and no invoicing after camp. Hotel camps must be deposited 30 days in advance to ensure that you are able to confirm rooms. After that, rooms are on a space availability basis and the hotel can charge a higher rate. n Regular CAMP DEPOSIT DEADLINE is 3 weeks prior to your camp. If you have not deposited or paid in full within 21 days of your camp you will be charged a $25 per person late fee. n Early arrivals must arrive between 4:00 and 7:00 pm only. n Camps fill quickly. Space can only be reserved by deposit. n College campus commuter packages do not include meals. n Cancellations must be made in writing to the office. n Please duplicate for your records.
