3 The second match this year was the th in the series. It was therefore thought appropriate to publish this supplement with the results and scores of all the games, not only cricket, that have been played between the two Colleges. Apart from the length of the series the most remarkable fact that emerges is the parity between the two Colleges. In all they^have met times in the past 9 years without either of them establishing a real lead over the other ; at the moment College is leading by games to. The first Cricket match was played in (a match took place the previous year but both sides contained ineligible players). All the earlier games in appear to have been played at the New Ground (Cambridge Park) for the present Cricket Field was not opened until 9. In that year Rugger matches were started but most of those were played either at Cambridge Park or at the Ivy Gates. The series of rugger matches ended in 9 when the College changed over to Association Football because of lack of opposition. did not change over for a year or more and the new series began in 9. The matches continued throughout the years of the First World War and in 9 Hockey and Athletics matches began. Apart from the years of the Second World War these encounters have continued and in 9 the first Squash match was played. The latter has not as yet been established as a regular fixture but we hope that it will be in the near future.
