Devonport Takapuna PREMIUM.CO.NZ Welcome everyone to the 2016/2017 season and especially to our new members. Sadly we have lost two of our members, Tony Lister (Life Member) and Bob Taylor over the last season. Our Club s first priority remains replacing the carpet on our top green, which is a major project. Your Board has made several applications for grants over the past season, unfortunately with little success. However, we will continue to apply and will not give up! Other major projects around the Club remain on our wish list, such as a new deck outside the ranch sliders and a new sprinkler system. A decent sprayer would be handy too. So lots to think about and work towards. Our membership remains steady and it is encouraging to see our membership rise slightly from last year when a lot of clubs on the North Shore are experiencing a decline. We are always happy for our members to help out around the place with grounds maintenance. If you have a spare hour or two, please feel free to contact me or other Board members to see what s needing doing. A very big thank you to the elves and secret squirrels who come along and do some weeding or painting or other bits and pieces when no one else is around. Your contributions show great club spirit and are very much appreciated. Thanks to the Board, bar staff and all the volunteers who made last season a success.
