2 Following the amalgamation of Shrule and Glencorrib in 1992, the Club has gone from strength to strength which resulted in many successful seasons over the last 26 years. In addition the Club has produced a number of excellent and notable footballers, both male and female who have gone on to represent various Mayo County teams. At Shrule / Glencorrib GAA Club, we set high standards and these high standards have seen us accomplish many significant achievements in recent times. It is our aim to bring Shrule / Glencorrib GAA Club to new heights, both on and off the field. We want to push for major honours and enable more and more boys and girls to play the game for our Club. Our targets for the coming year are as follows: evamp of Shrule Community Pitch dressing rooms Purchase of ball catching nets for behind the goals in Shrule Community Pitch Improve both Shrule and Glencorrib Community Pitches This is why the Club needs your assistance and support. As you can imagine, the cost of the above (circa 5k) and running our Club is enormous (circa 12k per year). In addition to our Senior, Junior and Under 21 teams (circa 65 players) we also provide football for over 16 boys and girls from Under 6 s up to Under 18 s. We do not want a lack of finance or funds to be a barrier as we aim to help the Club move forward. We want to be able to compete with the best and to give our kids and players the facilities they deserve. Our Club membership is the cornerstone to the success of our Club and we would deeply appreciate your support.
