1 SEASON TICKET RENEWALS AND PLAYOFF INFORMATION GUIDE First and foremost, I want to thank you for being such a vital part of the LA Kings. From my days as a player to my current role in the LA Kings front office I have always held a deep connection with LA Kings fans. I am appreciative of your constant support, it continues to fuel my pride and passion for this great game and organization. For the past three seasons, Dean Lombardi and his staff have taken a strategic and meticulous approach to building this team. Patience has certainly been required for our fans, but I think it is evident that the next step for the LA Kings will be significant. Coming out of the 2009 All Star break, the LA Kings were the youngest team in the NHL and despite that fact, this passionate team has made great strides in becoming a playoff contender. In addition, the emergence of first-year players Drew Doughty, Oscar Moller, Wayne Simmonds, Jonathan Quick and Kyle Quincey has clearly strengthened the core of talent led by Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Alexander Frolov, Jack Johnson and Patrick O Sullivan. These are your LA Kings of the future and I believe that future is right before our eyes. Enclosed, please find your 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff and Season Ticket Renewal Information. Your renewal for next season comes with many benefits and incentives; most notably we have decided to freeze Season Ticket Membership prices for the Season. Also, if you place your deposit by April 1, 2009, should the team qualify for the post-season, all pricing will remain the same for all four potential rounds. In addition, you won t be charged for playoffs until we officially clinch a playoff spot. Your renewal can be accomplished with a deposit of 5% by April 1, 2009 and you have a choice of three convenient payment plans. Please note, our Automatic Monthly Payment Plan will begin in June as usual, and we have extended the option an additional month, so you can now pay for your Season Ticket Membership over a total of 10 interest free installments as opposed to 8 installments in previous years. Tip-A-King - As part of your renewal, the Kings Care Foundation is pleased to offer you discounted 2010 Tip-A-King Tickets. The only public autograph session each season, this special event features all players, coaches and broadcasters to receive tips from their loyal fans in exchange for an autograph and/or photograph. All proceeds benefit the Kings Care Foundation, the LA Kings award winning non-profit organization, and Children s Hospital Los Angeles, the largest regional referral center for children in critical condition who need life-saving care. Add to your renewal by April 1, 2009 and receive $20 off the $85 General Admission fee and $75 off the $300 VIP Admission fee. Additionally, if you buy four tickets, you ll get the fifth free! Bailey s Buddies - If you ve got any budding hockey fans in your family, you ll want to take advantage of this Official Kid s Club of the LA Kings. The team s lovable lion mascot Bailey is waiting to welcome your little ones with open paws. Kids of all ages are invited to become a member of Bailey s Buddies. The fun starts in October and runs through June, but kids can join at anytime. The special Season Ticket Member price is only $15. 7 Ou r g o a l is to a n s w e r yo u r questions, even before you ask. When is the renewal deadline for my LA Kings Season Tickets and 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff Tickets? April 1, 2009 at 5:00 pm. How do I relocate, upgrade or add seats? You will have an opportunity to relocate, upgrade or add seats at our 2009 Select-A-Seat event at STAPLES Center (exact dates are yet to be determined). Invitations and more details for Select-A-Seat will be mailed in the coming months. (Please note: To be eligible to participate in Select-A-Seat, your account must be renewed by April 1, 2009.) What options do I have to pay for my Season Tickets? You have three payment options to choose from: 1) Pay in full by April 1, 2009; 2) 50/50 plan 5% by April 1, 2009, 45% by June 19, 2009, and the remaining 50% by August 19, 2009; or 3) Our new extended 10-installment payment plan. Can I apply my Ticket Exchange credits to the renewal? Yes, any credits on your account from the Season, including Ticket Exchange credits from games sold, will be applied to your renewal and your 2009 playoff purchase. How does Playoffs Pay-As-We-Play work? Renew your LA Kings Season Tickets with a 5% deposit by April 1, 2009 and you will be eligible for the LA Kings Playoffs Pay-As-We-Play. Your credit card will be charged for two home games when the team clinches a playoff spot and then charged for the remaining games only when they are announced. A valid credit card is required for participation in this program. What do my 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff Strips include? A 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff Strip includes tickets to every potential LA Kings home game that could be played during the playoffs. Because there is still a chance for home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs, each playoff round includes four home games and there are four playoff rounds. Will I have the same seat location for the playoffs? Yes. Can I purchase additional Playoff Strips? Yes! Once you have renewed your LA Kings Season Tickets and your 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff Tickets, you will be able to purchase up to eight additional seats per account. In addition, if you have any friends, family or colleagues who are interested in LA Kings 2009 Playoff Strips, you will be able to refer them to purchase tickets as well. Please see the enclosed insert marked 2009 Additional Playoff Strip Information for instructions on how to order your additional Playoff Strips and how to refer your friends and family. All additional playoff orders are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. What happens with my parking for the playoffs? When you renew your playoff tickets, your parking for the playoffs will automatically be renewed in the same lot as your regular season parking. Once renewed, your playoff parking vouchers will be sent to you. Can I purchase additional single-game tickets for the playoffs? The LA Kings will put 2009 Stanley Cup Playoff individual game tickets on sale to the general public upon clinching a playoff spot. Season Ticket Members will have a priority pre sale to purchase individual tickets. When will my playoff tickets be mailed? Playoff tickets will be mailed to the address on your account via FedEx in the second week of April. What happens if the LA Kings don t make the playoffs? If you renew and sign up for Playoffs Pay-As-We-Play and the LA Kings don t make the playoffs, you will not be charged for playoff tickets and your Season Ticket payments will begin as scheduled. If you are not signed up for Playoffs Pay-As-We-Play and you pay for playoffs in advance, your playoff payments can be applied to your Season Tickets or be refunded. Your playoff payments will automatically be applied to your Season Tickets unless you notify us in writing by April 13, Is my 5% deposit refundable? No. However, should you choose not to renew your season tickets, your deposit can be applied to a LA Kings Partial Plan package or single game ticket purchases. RENEW ONLINE AT LAKINGS.COM/seasontix

To renew online you must log in using your LA Kings account number and pin number. (Please note: all season ticket license agreements and necessary payment agreements can be submitted online for your convenience.) OR Submit your renewal and playoff payments, including the completed license agreement, via fax to or via mail using the enclosed envelope. The deadline to renew your LA Kings Season Tickets is April 1, 2009 at 5:00 PM.
