3 Founded as a non profit by Danny Strong former NCSU and professional basketball player in November 2012 The SC mission is to empower youth to maximize their potential by: Developing athletic ability Imparting a strong emphasis on academic excellence Instilling faith that a good attitude and hard work will ensure success in the classroom, sports, and in life! I CAN, I WILL, IT S DONE! is our motto Hebrews 11:1-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

4 Conduct basketball and football skills training in Fuquay-Varina and Cary, NC Make a difference through service in the community Provide outreach services such as tutoring, mentoring, and interviewing skills Partnership with local like minded coaches whose desire is to serve the Fuquay area youth by providing a competitive travel football program Creation of Fuquay Youth Football!

6 Foundation for new program laid at the end of last season 2013 season retrospective identified ~60 items that we wanted to improve upon or enhance. The Strong Center became a partner Football leagues and program costs studied Football program officially launched on December 20 th, 2013 To date, 85 enrollments in the football & cheer programs

7 To be the coveted youth football organization in eastern North Carolina providing a high level of skilled instruction; yielding competitive players at all levels with a similar passion for the sport and a comradery through team focus and enthusiasm in our community.

8 The Strong Center football program is a choice alternative to purely recreational programs, and will provide a more focused development of young athletes. Pillars of the program include: Safety USA Football, Training Sportsmanship -- Coaches will be role models Positive Competition Competition can be a very positive thing Family Engagement The Strong Center encourages parental involvement in our sports programs Fun The number one goal for Team sports

10 Teams do not have a set depth chart today Every player cannot be QB/RB, but every player will have a shot Playing Time (per online FAQ) Each player on each team shall play a minimum of four (4) downs per game either offensive or defensive. Special teams (Kick Off and Kick Off Return) shall not be considered a part of this requirement.

11 EWFL is a competitive league, we believe players EARN positions and time on the field: Effort We all cannot be great players, but we can all want to be great players and work for it Accountability Every player has a job to do, every down, and every drill. Take accountability. Right Do what is right all the time, not just when you think someone is watching. Nourish Nourish the concept of team & family. It s not all about you, we expect everyone to play as a team.

12 Heads Up Tackling is the focus All coaches are Level 1 certified Head coaches are Level 2 certified Player Safety Coach (PSC) Identified for each organization (including other teams in EWFL) PSC Safety Training PSC receives training from USA Football All coaches trained by PSC Parents also receive a safety training session Dates to be scheduled in July
