NON-RESIDENT WALK-IN REGISTRATION BEGINS ON JUNE 13, BASEBALL TINY T-BALL (CO-ED) 4 YRS TINY T-BALL is for the smallest of ball players. This instructional program will stress the most basic skills of throwing, catching, hitting and running bases. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. The season is based on a six-week practice and three-game schedule and while every effort will be made to make up cancellations, the full session is not guaranteed. 2 Youth Programs BASEBALL/SOFTBALL 9-11 YRS The Baseball/Softball program is an instructional program for boys and girls 9-11 years old who are progressing from softpitch, as well as players not ready for live pitch baseball. Age determined as of July 31. This division uses a pitching machine to help kids make the transition to baseball and softball. Using a pitching machine, the emphasis will be placed on participation and fun while focusing on skill development. Practices will be once or twice per week in the evenings. The season is based on a seven-game schedule with every effort to make up cancellations. Location: Local parks and schools. Game Dates: June 20-July 29; Weekday evenings Coaches meeting: Tuesday, June 7, 6PM REGISTRATION DEADLINE: nesday, May 25. A $10 late fee will be charged to anyone who signs up after the registration deadline. SOFTPITCH 7-8 YRS Softpitch is designed as a co-ed introductory league for those using a pitching machine. The ball will travel slower to allow for more success. A great way to introduce your child into the sport! Practice will be held once or twice per week in the evenings. The season is based on a seven game schedule with every effort to make up cancellations. Age determined as of July 31. Location: Local parks and schools. The program will stress the instruction of soccer fundamentals with the emphasis on FUN and participation. All games will be played the last three weeks of the season. The season is based on a six-week and threegame schedule and while every effort will be made to make up cancellations, the full season is not guaranteed. Practice and Game Location: City Park Fields. Game Dates: Friday, Sept. 30, Oct 7 & 14 (5:15-6:45PM) Saturday, Oct. 1, Oct 8 & 15 (9-11:30AM) REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Fri., August 26 or when full! Two teams per section, sign up for section. TINY TYKE SOCCER 3 YRS Having trouble keeping the 3-year-old on the sideline? Here s your chance to turn them loose and use some of that abundant energy. TINY TYKE SOCCER is an ideal start for the little ones who just can t wait. A parent or guardian must be present at all times. Age determined as of October 30. 4 Youth Programs FALL BOYS/GIRLS SOCCER U7-U12 YOUTH SOCCER stresses participation, development of skills and enjoyment. All boys and girls ages 5-12 are encouraged to get involved. Practices will be twice per week, games on Saturdays. Age/division determined by the chart below. Shin guards are required. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: nesday, August 3 or when full. A $10 late fee will be charged to all registrations after the deadline. ATHLETIC CAMPS LEGENDS SOCCER CAMP WITH KAREN LOGAN AND PANCHO HANSEN 4-11 YRS Learn from the legends at this camp for boys and girls, which will gear them up for the fall soccer season. 5 *LACROSSE CAMPS The fastest growing sport in the country is available in Lafayette. The introductory camp is a great way for a beginner to experience the sport without a huge investment for equipment. No previous experience is necessary. Talented instructors will teach an exciting week of skills, drills and games. Kids will be separated based on age. Please bring water and great attitude. Equipment provided! Location: Whitetail Park. Matches are played against teams from other districts in the Denver metro area on Friday mornings. CARA Tennis is open to participants between 8-18 and beginner to intermediate skill.
