3 THE AUSSIE FOOTBALLER AWARD Dribble the ball along the ground with the hands in a zig-zag fashion between the markers over 10 metres. Run fast for 10 metres and pick up a stationary football with two hands. (Do this on both sides of the body) Handball a football. Mark on the chest with a football tossed from 3 metres. Kick a football from 5 metres on preferred foot for a goal. Congratulations! You have achieved The Aussie Footballer Award. THE TACKLER AWARD Run quickly for 40 metres, touching the ball to the ground every 10 metres. Mark in the hands in front of the body (rather than on the chest) with the ball being tossed from 5 metres. Kick a football with the preferred foot over 7 metres. Kick a football with the non-preferred foot over six metres. Congratulations! You have achieved The Tackler Footballer Award. 3
4 THE MINI FOOTBALLER AWARD Kick a football with the preferred foot over 10 metres. Kick a football with the preferred foot over 9 metres. Kick a football with the non-preferred foot over 8 metres. Handpass a football with the right and left hands over 2 metres to a stationary partner. Mark a football kicked from 10 metres. Congratulations! You have achieved The Mini Footballer Award. THE BRONZE FOOTBALLER AWARD Kick a drop punt with the preferred foot over 14 metres and with the non-preferred foot over 10 metres while running forward. Mark over the head with a ball kicked from 10 metres. Handpass a ball two metres to another player while running together then reverse the direction and repeat with the alternate hand. Run 75 metres in under 18 seconds while bouncing a football with alternate hands every 15 metres. Complete a side bump on stationary opponent while going for the ball. Congratulations! You have achieved The Bronze Footballer Award. 4
5 THE SILVER FOOTBALLER AWARD Kick a torpedo punt with the preferred foot over 20 metres. Kick a drop punt with the preferred foot over 18 metres. Mark on the chest and above the head from 15 metres while running. Foot pass to a teammate running quickly towards the kicker. Ball must cover 18 metres. Kick at least six goals out of 10 shots from 18 metres. Punch a ball- tossed from 5 metres - out of the air with a fist. Perform a sidestep around a stationary opponent. Congratulations! You have achieved The Silver Footballer Award. 5
6 THE GOLD FOOTBALLER AWARD Kick a torpedo punt with the preferred foot over 25 metres. Kick a drop punt with the preferred foot over 23 metres. Kick a drop punt with the non-preferred foot over 20 metres. Run 75 metres in under 15 seconds while bouncing a football with alternate hands every 15 metres. Pass the ball to a player using the non-preferred foot. Congratulations! You have achieved The Gold Footballer Award. 6
7 THE PLATINUM FOOTBALLER AWARD Kick 3 goals out of 5 shots with the preferred foot from 25 metres and 3 goals out of 5 shots with the non-preferred foot from 20 metres. Deliver a rocket handball over 10 metres with alternate hands. Spoil from behind an opponent who is attempting to take an overhead mark. Kick must travel at least 10 metres. Perform a one-handed pick-up of a stationary ball and immediately handball to a teammate 10 metres away. Correctly tackle a stationary player from behind and from side on. Congratulations! You have achieved The Platinum Footballer Award. 7
