1 29th GFAPNG NATIONAL GAME FISHING TITLES RABAUL, APRIL 3 rd -11 th, 2004 February, 2004 Dear Anglers, The New Britain Game Fishing Club proudly extends a warm invitation to Anglers from clubs affiliated to the PNG Game Fishing Association to attend the 29 th Mobil / Shimano National Game Fishing Titles in Rabaul this Easter. Over K 100,000 worth of prizes are on offer, thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors. Enclosed are Angler registration forms that should be completed and returned to us without delay together with the Angler Registration Fee of K Each Angler will receive Mobil Fuel Vouchers to the value of K100-00, a Competition Bag with shirt, cap etc; Breakfast and Lunch on the two fishing days, a ticket to the Presentation Night Function, copy of the Titles magazine and much, much more! The PNG Motors Shootout will again be a feature of the Titles, on Wednesday April 7 th. Entry to this one day event is a single payment of K 1, per boat, payable on the eve of the event. Registration form for the shoot out is also included with this letter. Thanks to the very generous sponsorship of Consort Express Lines we are able once again to invite not only visiting anglers but also their boats. Consort have very kindly offered to transport trailer boats to Rabaul from Lae, Port Moresby, Kimbe, Madang and Kavieng for the Titles and to return them to their home ports afterwards. Please contact the NBGFC directly (nbgfc@global.net.pg) if you wish to bring your boat over. We will then put you in touch with the person in your port who is co-ordinating boat shipments. Consort s only conditions are that boats are transported on an All Care but No Liability basis and that boats must be properly insured against all risks including marine transportation. Visiting boats that motor in will receive some assistance with their fuel costs, please contact the Tournament Directors for full details on nbgfc@global.net.pg We re hoping to see a large number of visitors for the tournament, with the usual welcome mixture of old faces and new friends. There is plenty of accommodation in the Rabaul area and Kokopo available. When booking, don t forget to say you are coming for the Titles, many establishments will be offering special rates to Anglers. Accommodation contact names and addresses are on an attached list. Accommodation difficulties or queries can be directed to us at nbgfc@global.net.pg and we will try to help you. Non Anglers and other visitors will also be most welcome. Outings and activities are being organized so that guests and resting anglers get a chance to look around our province s many attractions. Contact us for any further information you need. Teams and Rods Junior Teams/Anglers 1) Junior Anglers who pay the K75.00 Registration Fee fish as part of a Junior Team (2-4 Junior Anglers) on 15kg line class and below. As a Team they compete for all Junior Team prizes. They are not eligible for any other Team Prizes. 2) Junior Anglers who form a team (2-4 anglers) and who elect to pay a Registration Fee of K per angler, compete for all Junior & Senior Individual and Team Prizes. 3) Junior Anglers who pay a Registration Fee of K and form part of a Senior Team compete for all prizes other than Junior Team Prizes National Titles Video The Official National Game Fishing Titles video will be available for delivery to pre-paid orders.
