2 Chamber Ribbon Cutting at 2 pm Get Well With Lashell Lashell will be here doing Live Blood Analysis on June 15th,16th and 17th from 7am to 7pm. She will also be doing a lecture called Chemical Cuisine at the June 15th. Look for Quilts all throughout downtown during the Outdoor Quilt Show. You will find unique items and great prices when you... Annual Spring Dance Recital LaDonna's School of Dance is presenting their Annual Spring Recital June 1 at the DCHS auditorium at 6:30pm. A preshow of solos and duets will start at 4:30 pm. The theme for the Recital is "Once Upon A Time". Admission is $5 for Adults and $2 for students at the door. Stockman Outdoor Sale Check out Stockman Bank and Stockman Insurance Outdoor Sale during the Work Week before Fathers Day. There will be items that men would put on their gift list! Remember the week of June This is the last fundraiser this year for Glendive Community Cancer Fund.

3 Connie Balcer Memorial JSEC Classic Open Make plans now to attend the Connie Balcer Memorial JSEC Classic Golf Tournament scheduled for Tuesday, June 13th. The annual outing will be celebrating its 29th year. Call your golf friends, then call the Job Service to register. The tournament will begin with lunch at 12:00. Teams will be set up by Committee--requests are honored--and the shot gun tee off takes place at 1:00. After completing the 9 hole scramble, golfers grab a snack and receive gifts and prizes provided by more than 50 local businesses. The entry fee, which includes lunch and a drink, 9 holes of golf, team prizes, hole prizes, drawings, and an after golf snack, is only $50 per golfer. For an additional $5, there will be an optional derby played after the awards presentation for those who want a bit more time on the course. You won t want to miss this afternoon of FUN! 4 Chat with Christine Wow, what a crazy May it was! Paddlefish harvest lasted just over 3 days. If you threw a line and a hook you could snag a fish and quick this year. The water conditions were perfect and beautiful mature females swam up to Intake in strong numbers. It was a season for the record books and I m glad the only casualties were the fish. Our thanks go out to all who work so hard to make this happen every year: Justin & Mandy Hoffmann of MonDak Construction who set up the cleaning and processing station and staffed the cutting trailer; Betsey & Phil Hedrick & Tom Barnick who oversaw the roe processing; Tim Zody for running the boat shuttle; Carolyn Zody for manning the logbook; Doug & Jill Schneider of Pig Out Concessions for keeping all fed; & Jerry Schmitt for running the fish shuttle from the Sidney Bridge. Our thanks also go to the crew from FWP who stood with all of us elbow to elbow and fish to fish each day until long after the sun had set. A special shout out also needs to be sent out to YOUR board! Almost all 12 spent a shift volunteering in the egg trailer along with staff. And, we had some pretty great volunteers who donated their time to the chaos: Pam Boner, Maria Zimdars, Sara Hilbert, & Alan & Lois Sevier! We could not have done it without you! We will be planning to utilize more volunteers next season so if this paddlefish caviar thing fascinates you, let us know and we will sign you up! This month held a lot of highlights in one short week. My middle son graduated from Wibaux County High School on the last day of the harvest, and let me tell you its hard to shake off the smell of those fish when you want to clean up. Wrapping up the school year and heading into summer, I want all our members to know how much you mean to the Chamber and our community. Enjoy your summer, let us know if we can help you with information for any guests that visit and stop in for coffee or lemonade when you drive by! Miss Montana will happen June with the Chamber sponsored Show Us Your Shoes Parade at 1 pm on Friday, June 16th. Don t forget to take some time to celebrate Dads on Sunday, June 18th & Go out and Live Glendive!
