The course appears beautiful with lush fairways due to the recently done over-seeding of the cool season Rye grass and the greens are playing true.

Last month, the Club was busy hosting members' personal parties and social functions. We also hosted the BMW International and Golden Eagle Tournament of the Krishnapatnam Port.

We welcomed groups from across the globe who were left speechless not only by the course, but also by our hospitality standards, thereby validating our recent accolades and award for Leisure &

Winter has set in early, marking the start of the golfing season. We have observed increased footfalls in the club throughout the week. The course appears beautiful with lush fairways due to the recently done over-seeding of the cool season Rye grass and the greens are playing true. Kudos to Shaun and his team for all their efforts, now you have a great surface to play on. Do not forget to repair your Divots and Pitch marks. Last month, the Club was busy hosting members' personal parties and social functions. We also hosted the BMW International and Golden Eagle Tournament of the Krishnapatnam Port. As the golfing season is in full swing, we were the most sort out course amongst the reciprocals reaching out to play a round at the GP. We welcomed groups from across the globe who were left speechless not only by the course, but also by our hospitality standards, thereby validating our recent accolades and award for Leisure & Entertainment Project of the Year. The Mini Buffet at the Pavilion for playing golfers has been organised to maintain the pace of play and provide a hearty meal during the 10 min. crossover break. The most awaited and all-time favorite Sunday Brunches have commenced at the Garden Café. We welcome you and your family to enjoy the outdoor brunch experience along with your friends and family. 4 BMW Golf Cup International 2018 BMW the name synonymous with Luxury on roads, hosted yet another series of their BMW Golf Cup International 2018 for their premier clients. The tournament was hosted on the 15th and 16th. This series saw participation from over 200 golfers who played to compete for the coveted top position and in hope of playing the National Finals in December. On Day 1 Amit Luthra (Cat. A) and Aman Sawhney (Cat. B) made the cut and the following day, Bikram Singh (Cat. A), Som Kapoor (Cat. B) and Astha Mittal (Ladies) were declared the winners. 6 APAA 2018 Golf Tournament The Asian Patent Attorneys Association s 18th General Assembly and 68th & 69th Council Meeting was held in New Delhi from the 17th to 21st. Post the round of meetings our member Jyoti Sagar, the organizer of the event and the golfers amongst the group got together for a game at the club on the 20th. The courses were successfully over seeded by the first week of November with perennial rye and within 15 days a very good strike was achieved. The weather this year has been perfect for over seeding with ideal temperatures and some light rain which helped greatly with establishment. Due to the growth habits of perennial Rye it has a low tolerance to foot traffic and very slow recuperative characteristics. Due to these factors it is essential that the tees be rotated through the tee complex during the week to fully manage the wear and tear. Generally, the tees will be forward during the mid-week play and moved back as the weekend approaches. Thank you for your co-operation as the maintenance team continues to focus on delivering quality playing experiences throughout the winter months. First, soak the dry fruits in grape juice / alcohol for 2 hours. 2. Then, take the warm water, powdered sugar, oil and blend. 3. Next sieve together the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and salt and also add orange zest and vanilla extract. 4. Blend till the batter is combined. 5. Squeeze all the moisture from the dry fruits. 6. Then add the dry fruits along with almonds and walnuts and gently mix them into the batter. 7. Transfer the cake batter into the greased cake mould. 8. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. 9. Serve the Christmas fruit cake warm. Sunhit Bishnoi from the DLF Junior Golf Excellence Program made us proud by finishing in 2nd position in the 2018 Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championship, held at Panya Indira Golf Club, Bangkok. The Singha Junior World is one of the most prestigious junior golf tournaments in the South East Asian region. Little champion of the Academy, is all smiles! Our little champion Kartik Singh played tough amongst International competitors and kept the Indian flag flying high by bagging the runner-up position (lost in play off) in the Albatross Junior International tournament held at Classic Golf Resort.
