3 TIP BOYD MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT Tip Boyd founded the Revere Men s Golf Club Member-Guest Tournament and was the driving force behind its growth for 6 years. Tip said his love of golf was in his DNA as his grandfather was a club champion at Riviera Country Club in California. He loved living in Henderson because it is such a playground for golf and so many people here became wonderful friends of his. Tip loved playing golf so much he is known for saying that he only wanted to play golf on days that end with a Y. He always had a joke to brighten the day and the time to help someone struggling with their game. Tip is being remembered by naming this year s Revere Men s Golf Club Member Guest tournament The Tip Boyd Memorial. Golf was Tip s passion and it is a great honor for our club to dedicate this year s event to his memory. - The Revere Men s Golf Club
