3 2015 Sling-Shotz Men s Member Guest Format Friday, August 21 st : 2-Person Scramble Both players will tee off and select the best tee shot. Both players play from that location and continue format until ball has been holed out. Teams will receive 10% of their combined handicap for this format. Saturday, August 22 nd : 2-Person Shamble Both players tee off on every hole. The team selects which of the two tee shots they will play for their team ball. After selected, each player will play their own ball the rest of the hole until each ball has been holed. For scoring, record both scores on the scorecard. The lowest score on the hole will count as your team score. Teams will receive 80% of their handicap for this format. Sunday, August 23rd: 2-Person Quota Each player will receive a quota based on 90% of their handicap. Each player will then play their own ball individually, and will receive points per hole based on gross score. Eagle or better = 6 points, Birdie = 4 points, Par = 2 points, Bogey = 1 point, Double Bogey or worse = 0 points. The combined differentials of the two team members will be added (negative differentials) or subtracted (positive differentials) from the 2-day total to arrive at final team score for the event. Flight winner will be the team with the lowest combined score over the three days. The second lowest six will form Flight #2, and so on until all flights are formed. **The maximum differential between partners allowed for this event will be 8 strokes. If the difference in handicap is greater than 8 strokes, the greatest number will be decreased until it reaches the lower number plus 8. **Verifiable handicaps must be presented for ALL competitors.
