VINCENNES - 1st September Trainer of the day : Philippe Allaire (107, 207, 308, 613, 711) Jockey of the day : Yoann Lebourgeois (107, 207, 613, 711) Horse of the day : Flèche Bourbon (307) Dark Horse : As Doré (514) Race 1 1. CAPORAL DE BRY - Useful sort at a much lower level and already looks outclassed 2. VERMEER JARZEEN - Has done nothing noteworthy on the track for almost three years and can be written off 3. BE MINE DE HOUELLE - Recently returned to France following a productive stint in Scandinavia but steps up in class and a minor place chance at best 4. ULKA DES CHAMPS - Well-supported when fifth in the race of reference but drops back in distance which should work to her advantage 5. VALSE DE REVE - Seldom fails to fire under these conditions. Trotted fourth to (7) ARLINGTON DREAM in the G.2 Prix de Londres last time and can challenge

for a place in the frame 6. CYPRIEN DES BORDES - Fine campaigner that would have finished second here last time had he not faulted. Boasts a superb record under these conditions and looks a serious prospect 7. ARLINGTON DREAM - Still at the top of his game ages 8. Won this race with authority in 2017 and after dominating a good field at Enghien three weeks ago looks set to pull off the double 8. ATTENTIONALLY - Third in this event 12 months ago and although unseen since early April has front shoes off for the occasion and can put on a good show Facile winner of this race twelve months ago (7) ARLINGTON DREAM recently showed his superiority at Enghien and will take all the beating. (6) CYPRIEN DES BORDES did however have his measure in the G.3 Prix Guillaume de Bellaigue mid-may and considering current form looks the main opposition. (8) ATTENTIONALLY trotted third here in 2017 and although winless for 23 months should still be good enough to make the frame. 2175m is (5) VALSE DE REVE's distance of choice and is expected to get in on the action once more. (7) ARLINGTON DREAM - (6) CYPRIEN DES BORDES - (8) ATTENTIONALLY - (5) VALSE DE REVE

Race 2 1. FAKIR MERITE - Progressive type that trotted a good fifth on his first attempt at this level and over this shorter distance should not be too far off the mark 2. FALCO D'HERIPRE - Complicated colt with evident talent and can get a look in if he can stay in stride 3. FALCAO DE LAURMA - Hardy sort that has never finished out of the frame when applied. Second in the race of reference and even though untried over 2175m still looks a major player 4. FABRIZ DU GITE - Showed marked improvement in the Prix Pierre Plazen. Is confirmed over the distance and will not be available at 59-1 this time around 5. FABULOUS WOOD - Dynamic colt that swept all before him in the Prix Pierre Plazen last month and even though dropping in trip still looks a serious prospect 6. FRIC DU CHENE - Well campaigned sort with an excellent turn of foot. Left a good impression behind (5) FABULOUS WOOD last time and can again make the frame 7. FLOCKI D'AURCY - Classy individual with an enviable strike rate. Sanctioned early in the Prix Albert Viel but has had time to freshen up and with application can play a leading role 8. FIGHTER SMART - Winner of the Prix Albert Viel late June. One-paced on comeback though and needs to find considerably more 9. FIFTY KALOUMA - Pleased twice at this level over the winter and while clearly in form will nonetheless need to improve on recent 6th in the race of reference 10. FILE GIN - Decent sort that has previously imposed under these conditions. Unplaced in last two but the drop in distance should work to his advantage 11. FOLLOW YOU - Serious sort that seldom disappoints over these shorter trips. Was not disgraced in the G.2 Prix Pierre Plazen and should show more this time around Since returning from the spring break (5) FABULOUS WOOD has answered every question asked of him and his recent G.2 Pierre Plazen success will have put any doubts to bed. He is the leading choice here but can nonetheless expect to meet resistance from Philippe Allaire's (7) FLOCKI D'AURCY who has been a class act since his first steps on the track. The fast (6) FRIC DU CHENE has demonstrated very good aptitude for the game and can confirm his third place in the race of reference. (11) FOLLOW YOU was surprisingly below-par that day but over this shorter trip should logically go closer.

(5) FABULOUS WOOD - (7) FLOCKI D'AURCY - (6) FRIC DU CHENE - (11) FOLLOW YOU

Race 3 1. FOLLOW ME DU LOGIS - Won two of her last three but takes a massive hike in class and will have her work cut out 2. FAME AND FORTUNE - Won three on the trot before coming 5th to (7) FLECHE BOURBON last month and in similar form can get a look in 3. FRENCH DARLING - Respectable sort that recently reassured but has never shone at this level and others preferred 4. FLO WOOD - Justifiably well-regarded filly that has never failed to fire for M.Abrivard. Untested at this level but looks good enough to hold her own 5. FULL OPTION - Showed early promise but has failed to come good this term. Is Lebourgeois' choice but a minor place chance at best 6. FANINA DES RACQUES - Complicated type but has already secured a G.2 over course and distance. Barrier stays faithful after a somewhat disappointing effort last time and can make amends 7. FLECHE BOURBON - Unbeaten in seven races to date. Latterly secured the G.2 Prix Guy Deloison with ease and is eminently capable of confirming 8. FLY WITH US - Superb filly that won her first six. Sanctioned in last five but with stride in check should prove dangerous 9. FEND LA BISE - Seldom wins but always gives her best. Impressed when second in the race of reference and can again challenge for a spot in the frame 10. FOLELLI - Gr.1-winning filly that trotted third to (7) FLECHE BOURBON last time. Boasts a fine record under these conditions and can play a major part Unbeaten since her debut at Angers last February (7) FLECHE BOURBON has climbed the class ladder with consummate ease and considering how well she won the G.2 Prix Guy Deloison last time can expect to garner the lion's share of support here. (9) FEND LA BISE and (10) FOLELLI finished second and third respectively that day but the tables could well turn this time around considering the latter's marginally better record over 2175m. (8) FLY WITH US is one of the classiest horses here and could prove something of a spoiler if she can keep her action together. (7) FLECHE BOURBON - (10) FOLELLI - (9) FEND LA BISE - (8) FLY WITH US

Race 4 1. EGERIE DU VIVIER - Bridesmaid in her last four starts. Appreciates Vincennes but takes a leap in class and not an obvious choice 2. ELECTRA WIND - Modest sort that has done nothing noteworthy since winning at Enghien mid-april and can be passed over 3. ENSKA - Good honest filly that consistently gives her best but at this level of competition will have her work cut out 4. ELENA DE PIENCOURT - Useful sort that always gives her best. Has two races in her since the spring break and with shoes off this time should acquit herself honourably 5. ELOISE DES CHARMES - Highly consistent trotter that cannot be faulted at present. Gets on well with Raffin and must be considered a decent outside chance 6. ENORA DE PIENCOURT - Fine filly when racing barefoot. Is in flying form but has a mountain to climb on this occasion 7. EFFIGIE MADRIK - Showed significant talent last season. Has raced just twice this term but is first time unshod all four and can figure prominently 8. EXTASY D'OURVILLE - Quality individual that went into her spell after two straight sanctions but comes here fresh and barefoot and should not be ruled out 9. ECLIPSE DANICA - Serious filly that rarely lets the side down when applied. Imposed on re-entry at Enghien and can play an important role 10. EVERGLADES - G.3-winning filly but not always the most faithful. Is barefoot following a brace of preps and if behaved could pick up some stake money 11. ESTELADA DE FONT - Well-regarded type that won a Class A over course and distance in May. Has not been as sharp since but should not be underestimated 12. ESTOLA - Yet to confirm her late-april G.3 success but is barefoot this time and with application should not be too far off the mark 13. ELISIONE MAG - One of the best fillies of her generation at 2 and 3 but stagnating at present. Is confirmed at this level though and should not be overlooked 14. ELITE DU RUEL - Not the most reliable of horses but reassured in an Enghien G.3 last month and deserves to be taken seriously 15. ELLADORA DE FORGAN - G.1 winner in the ridden discipline making her first appearance under harness. Has other priorities and no threat 16. ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE - Outstanding filly making her first start for four months but her class can make up for her absence. Claim

Group 1 winner (16) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE is the class act here and although unraced since trotting second in the Criterium des 4 Ans should still be capable of lifting this. After having shown a lot of promise at three (7) EFFIGIE MADRIK has raced just twice this year but goes barefoot for the occasion and may well have the edge over (9) ECLIPSE DANICA who is back at Vincennes following a good Class D success at Enghien late July. (14) ELITE DU RUEL reassured behind the talented Classic Connection mid-august and in similar form can play a role. (12) ESTOLA has not convinced since winning a G.2 across town late April but is not incapable of surprising on a good day. (16) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE - (7) EFFIGIE MADRIK - (9) ECLIPSE DANICA - (14) ELITE DU RUEL - (12) ESTOLA - (13) ELISIONE MAG - (1) EGERIE DU VIVIER - (5) ELOISE DES CHARMES

Race 5 1. VOILA ECUS - Lost his way this time last year and has yet to get back on track. Disregard 2. BISE DU COGLAIS - Dependability not her strong suit and latest efforts do nothing to convince 3. VEGAS DES PRES - Barring latest effort has been as solid as a rock but at this level will be facing a stiff test 4. ALTESSE BLUE - Seldom far off the mark when she can stay in stride but yet to recapture her 2017 form and will need to find more 5. VEGAS D'AMOS - Useful on a good day. Recently beat his personal best in the other code but others still preferred 6. AGATHE DES RUETTES - Has been giving a good account lately and likes Vincennes but in this company will need to be at her best 7. BAD JULRY - Pleased during the spring but out of the picture in last two and must reaffirm 8. BAMBINO DU PRE - Yet to impose under these conditions but has been in good shape this term and after a freshener in the provinces will be barefoot and competitive 9. VALASCO D'IM - Has better credentials under the saddle these days but is barefoot on the first row this time and will have his chances 10. BOLERO DES VIGNES - Has raced rather modestly so far this year and the extra 25m will do nothing to aid his plight 11. VERTIGE DE CHENU - Complicated sort making first start for new trainer. Not an obvious choice but one to watch all the same 12. ANGE DE LUNE - Has three races in him since the spell. Impressed at Vichy last time and with shoes off for the occasion could yet impose 13. BEST BUISSONAY - Has done nothing of note this year so far and is not about to change his ways 14. AS DORE - Intermittent but has bags of talent. Is clearly in form and can play an important role if he can get off on the right foot 15. AUFOR DE MIRE - Third last time over course and distance but out of the picture in three at Enghien since. Drops back in class though and can get a look in 16. VENEZIA DE MAI - Blows hot and cold but reassured at Cagnes recently and a similar performance would see him in the mix at the finish 17. VIKING FROMENTRO - Hardy sort that has come good again in recent

months. Scored over track and trip ten days ago and can repeat 18. AUCH - Seldom fails to fire at this level of competition and returns to his favourite hunting ground with a good hand to play After a moderate start to the year (17) VIKING FROMENTRO began to pick up his game late May and most recently imposed with ease over course and distance. He incurs the penalty here but can still double his money. (12) ANGE DE LUNE seldom disappoints when barefoot and after a convincing effort when shod in a Vichy Class A early last month returns to Vincennes with a good hand to play. (18) AUCH has excellent references at this level and should be capable of making the frame. (9) VALASCO D'IM is unshod all four for just the second time of his career and from the front line can give this a good go. The in-form (8) BAMBINO DU PRE has been prepared for this race and is expected to put in another honest performance. (17) VIKING FROMENTRO - (12) ANGE DE LUNE - (18) AUCH - (9) VALASCO D'IM - (8) BAMBINO DU PRE

Race 6 1. DESIR CASTELETS - Hardy sort that has two races under his belt following a long absence. Sixth in the race of reference and with shoes off this time will generate some interest 2. DESPERADO - Respectable type at a lower level. Has a brace of races in him but will have too much to do 3. DELFINO - Yet to secure a race at this level but is not short of ability. Lost his action in the Prix Jockey but should not be underestimated 4. DIGNE ET DROIT - Useful dual-purpose sort that has shown better aptitude for the other code recently and is unlikely to shake things up 5. DEESSE DES LANDES - Useful mare but has never made any impact at this level and is not about to buck the trend 6. DUKE OF CARLESS - Yet to be tested in this class under harness but has good speed and in present condition will have his supporters 7. DIABLE DE VAUVERT - Surprised when runner-up to (12) DELIA DU POMMEREUX last time and while highly unlikely to repeat will not be available at 29-1 on this occasion 8. DOBERMAN - No longer the horse he once was. Reassured in a G.3 over 2700m here last weekend but still not an obvious choice 9. DETROIT CASTELETS - Winner of two G.2's this year when barefoot. Fourth in his prep when shod and looks a more serious contender this time around 10. DARLING DE REUX - Criterium des 4 Ans winner that went into her spring break on a high note. Forfeit in the Prix Jockey but is unshod and should be in decent enough form to give this a good go 11. DAVIDSON DU PONT - Excellent campaigner that left a fine impression on return in the Prix Jockey. Is barefoot this time and can pick up his second G DELIA DU POMMEREUX - Good class of mare that seldom disappoints. Won the Prix Jockey in good order and should again figure prominently 13. DJANGO RIFF - Not always the most reliable but imposed on comeback before trotting 5th in the race of reference. Shoes off this time and can go closer (11) DAVIDSON DU PONT turned a corner over the winter with some superb performances culminating in G.1 Prix de Selection victory. He returned from his break with a fine third in the G.2 Prix Jockey and with four shoes off for the first time should be able to make this his own. Multiple group winner (12) DELIA DU POMMEREUX won well that day and even though barefoot this time still looks

more a place chance and may even have to defer to the good (9) DETROIT CASTELETS who is unbeaten with shoes off this term. Previously the best colt of his generation (13) DJANGO RIFF has since been dethroned but is still a class element and must be respected. (11) DAVIDSON DU PONT - (9) DETROIT CASTELETS - (12) DELIA DU POMMEREUX - (13) DJANGO RIFF

Race 7 1. CHANT DES SIRENES - Moderate sort that has not done enough lately to be considered dangerous 2. CADUCEUS DES BAUX - Good dual-purpose trotter but tends to show more in the other code and can be passed over 3. BLE DU GERS - Hardy sort that seldom disappoints when applied. Left a good impression on re-entry last month and going barefoot this time will only enhance his already good prospects 4. BAHIA QUESNOT - Missed out by little in a Vichy Class B late June before trotting second to Aubrion Du Gers in a G.2 there ten days later but looks a minor place chance at best here 5. BALBIR - Decent sort that returns to Vincennes on the back of a Vichy Class A success. Incurs no penalty this time and must be respected 6. UNBRIDLED CHARM - Has been at the top of his game since the spring - securing two victories over course and distance - and from the first row can give this a good go 7. VENOSC DE MINEL - Very consistent this year and despite his recent clinker on turf can rebound with a more productive run under conditions he appreciates 8. TONY GIO - Somewhat erratic but reassured in a G.2 at Enghien mid-july. In less exalted company this time and should acquit himself respectably 9. ANZI DES LIARDS - Struggled during the spring but has bounced back into form. Missed out by little to Cash Gamble in a Cagnes G.3 last time and in similar form will have his chances from the first line 10. VIRGIOUS DU MAZA - Not always the easiest horse to handle but has won three times over the distance here and with application can get in on the action 11. TRADERS - Remarkable campaigner in both branches of the business. Has not been seen out since mid-may but is unshod in front and even from the second line can make a big splash 12. AKIM DU CAP VERT - No slouch at this level of competition. Has a very good entry here and the drop in class can only work to his advantage Even though shod for his comeback in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Enghien (3) BLE DU GERS's performance did not go unnoticed. He is barefoot on the front line here and looks to have just a marginal edge over the exceptional (11) TRADERS whose only kink is that he has not been seen out since mid-june. (6) UNBRIDLED CHARM has been on a superb run for the past four months and given his liking for these conditions will be hard to ignore on the first row. (9)

ANZI DES LIARDS appears to be back at the top of his game and will have his chances. (3) BLE DU GERS - (11) TRADERS - (6) UNBRIDLED CHARM - (9) ANZI DES LIARDS

Race 8 1. DROTTNING VIKING - Delicate but is a trotter with ample ability. Lebourgeois has deserted (9) DINES DU CHATELET for this one with front shoes off for the first time must be taken seriously 2. DARLING D'OURVILLE - Has enjoyed a productive run in recent weeks. Is reunited with M.Abrivard and should be able to get in on the action provided she turns 3. DAZZLE JET - Finished a respectable 5th over shorter here last weekend and while no great fan of the venue could still pick up a cheque 4. DONNA DE KARMEL - Has placed just once in 11 starts at Vincennes. Backs up a week after a moderate effort here and unlikely to shake things up 5. DIVINE D'ECROVILLE - Has struggled since winning at Vire late June and considering her Vincennes record will have few friends 6. DIVA DU GRANIT - Regularly indisciplined but has ample ability at this level. Has been in excellent form lately and on good behaviour could win this 7. DETONANTE VERITE - Decent sort making her first appearance for three months. Has no references on the long course but is barefoot for the occasion and will have her supporters 8. DENEBOLA TEGE - On a very good run of late. Beat her personal best at Cabourg late July and will have her chances 9. DINES DU CHATELET - Well-campaigned mare that has turned a corner since going barefoot. Comes here on a three-timer and looks a serious prospect (6) DIVA DU GRANIT may be something of a delicate soul but she has otherwise been very hard to fault in recent months and if applied should have the measure of the field. (8) DENEBOLA TEGE has enjoyed a very profitable streak since late May and her latest Cabourg victory augurs well for her chances. (9) DINES DU CHATELET returns to Paris on a hat-trick and while unlikely to pull it off can still make the frame. Yoann Lebourgeois has stayed loyal to (1) DROTTNING VIKING and if she stays in stride should not be far off the mark. (6) DIVA DU GRANIT - (8) DENEBOLA TEGE - (9) DINES DU CHATELET - (7) DETONANTE VERITE

Race 9 1. EXCELLENT - Capable trotter that was surprisingly sanctioned last time. Faces a new test here but can make a big impact if he can get off on the right foot 2. EPSOM DES BROUSSES - Talented type in very good shape. Has yet to make his mark at this level but given current form is hard to ignore 3. ERODE LUDOIS - Useful colt but has yet to recapture his 2017 form and looks a minor place chance at best 4. EXPRESS JET - Made a solid comeback at Enghien after having trotted third in the Criterium. Stays shod but still looks potentially dangerous 5. EARL SIMON - Never farther than 5th in 12 racecourse appearances. Particularly impressive of late and recent G.3 Prix de Milan performance augurs well for his chances here 6. EASY DES RACQUES - Useful sort that has been given an easy preparation ahead of this race. Is reunited with Monclin and can pick up some stake money 7. ENINO DU POMMEREUX - Good class of horse that has not been seen out since winning the Criterium des 4 Ans early May. Is shod this time but can still get a look in 8. EYE OF THE STORM - Quality individual and although better in the other code is barefoot for the first time and should improve on recent Enghien performance The dynamic (5) EARL SIMON has hardly set a foot out of place this year and after a short breather returns to Vincennes with every chance of imposing. (1) EXCELLENT has never been tested at this level but has climbed the class ladder in good order and can make a big impact if he can get off on the right foot. (2) EPSOM DES BROUSSES has been solid in both since the break and will again be afforded every chance. (7) ENINO DU POMMEREUX stays shod for his first appearance since winning the Criterium des 4 Ans but can still make his presence felt. (5) EARL SIMON - (1) EXCELLENT - (2) EPSOM DES BROUSSES - (7) ENINO DU POMMEREUX - (4) EXPRESS JET

BOARDMAN - Sixth of nine behind Peronne in his debut on the turf at Deauville in July. Respected 2. AL JAROUD - Seventh of eight behind Anador in his debut on the turf at Deauville last month. Likely to improve 3. PERSIAN KING - Second of eight behind Anador in his debut on the turf at Deauville last month. Short list 4. BRAZING - Eight of thirteen behind Shaman in his debut here in July. Another stiff test today 5. MONTAGU - Second his debut at La Teste Buch in July and third to Toijk at Deauville last month. Can be in the mix 6. HOT SUMMER - By Sommerabend and is a half brother to Wootton who was a Group Three winner this year The Andre Fabre trained colt (3) PERSIAN KING made a promising debut when runner up behind Anador in a newcomers race at Deauville last month. He is likely to improve from that and can win here before going on to better things. The newcomer (6) HOT SUMMER is a half brother to Group Three winner Wootton and should be watched in the betting market. (5) MONTAGU and (1) BOARDMAN are next best. (3) PERSIAN KING - (6) HOT SUMMER - (5) MONTAGU - (1) BOARDMAN

Race 2 1. SUPHALA - Daughter of Frankel was disappointing on her debut at Deauville but is likely to improve 2. LADY NEARTICA - Third of fourteen behind Montviette on her debut at Deauville last month and not ruled out here 3. WYOMIA JASMIN - Fourth of six behind Houesville in a maiden race at Clairefontaine last month. Others preferred 4. MADELEINE MUST - Fifth of fourteen behind Montviette on her debut at Deauville last month and can place today 5. SAKURA ZENSEN - Last of five behind Spirit Of Brittany in a Class 2 race at Clairefontaine in July. More required 6. LUCKY JOLIE - A close second of fourteen behind Montviette on her debut at Deauville last month. Short list 7. KENAVA - By Kendargent and is the second foal to run out of a dam that has produced a winner A few of these ran in a maiden at Deauville early last month and the Fabre fily (6) LUCKY JOLIE was only just touched off by Montviette. She had three quarters of a length back to (2) LADY NEARTICA in third place and is the selection to confirm those placings today. (4) MADELEINE MUST was further back in fifth place but can get closer here today. (6) LUCKY JOLIE - (2) LADY NEARTICA - (4) MADELEINE MUST - (1) SUPHALA

Race 3 1. QUINZE VINGTS - Third in a handicap at Moulins last time out and caould run in to a place here today 2. BRETTEVILLE - A couple of placed efforts in claimers early last month but a poor run at Saint-Cloud last time out 3. COULONCES - Fourth behind Shamsabad in a claimer on the PSF at Deauville last month and is a leading contender here 4. SPEED - Disappointing last time out but second behind Shamsabad in a claimer on the PSF at Deauville before that. Consider 5. WIN VIC - Well beaten ninth of ten behind Classic Joy in a claimer at Clairefontaine last month 6. ATAXERXIOS - By Enrique and is the third foal to run out of a dam that has produced two winners 7. MISTER MO - Still a maiden after five career starts in Germany and hard to recommend on French debut Although disappointing in a handicap on the turf at Deauville last time out (4) SPEED had (3) COULONCES back in fourth when runner up behind Shamsabad in a claimer on the PSF there earlier this month. He is the selection to confirm those placings today and record his first career success. (1) QUINZE VINGTS and (2) BRETTEVILLE can follow them home. (4) SPEED - (3) COULONCES - (1) QUINZE VINGTS - (2) BRETTEVILLE

Race 4 1. TUDO BEM - A close second to Pacifica in a Class 1 race at Deauville seven days ago. Consistent 2. SOLDIER'S CALL - A Listed winner at Royal Ascot in June and third in a Group Three at Goodwood last month. Can be in the mix 3. MILORD'S SONG - Got off the mark when winning a Class 2 race at Deauville last month. Tougher test today 4. KILFRUSH MEMORIES - Fourth of seven behind Milord's Song in a Class 2 race at Deauville last month. Stiff test today 5. SECOND GENERATION - Three wins from five career starts including a Listed success at Vichy in July. Has a chance 6. QUEEN OF BERMUDA - Two wins from five in the UK and a Listed winner at Deauville last month. Respected 7. PRIMERAVEZ - Fourth behind Queen Of Bermuda in a Listed race at Deauville last month. Needs to improve 8. SHE'S A BABE - Comfortable winner of a Class 2 race at Vichy last month and can improve again. Interesting After winning a twenty eight runner Listed race at Royal Ascot in June (2) SOLDIER'S CALL was a little unlucky in running when third behind Rumble Inthejungle in a Group Three at Goodwood last month. He can return to winning ways today. (6) QUEEN OF BERMUDA won a Listed race at Deauville last month and must be respected. (5) SECOND GENERATION and (8) SHE'S A BABE are also interesting. (2) SOLDIER'S CALL - (6) QUEEN OF BERMUDA - (5) SECOND GENERATION - (8) SHE'S A BABE

Race 5 1. HOPALONG CASSIDY - A few times in the mix in seven starts, including his last start. Has scope to improve and could be involved 2. LA FARFALLINA - Runner up behind (10) MARINA PALACE in a handicap here in July. Poor run in a claimer at Moulins last month 3. ELUSIVE SUNDAY - Blows hot and cold but is capable of getting a look in if reproducing his best form 4. KALLIKRATES - Runner up in a handicap on the PSF at Deauville last month and is one of the leading contenders here 5. LE GITAN - Capable of running well on best form, though latest efforts inspire little confidence 6. BREATH OF LIFE - Fourth behind Ultim'Reve in a handicap on the PSF at Deauville last month. Not ruled out 7. JOAN JET - Creditable win in a claimer at Croise-Laroche in June and third at Maisons-Laffitte in July. Poor run at Moulins last month 8. MA PETITE TOSCANE - Placed a few times earlier in her career and a couple of times on the PSF at Deauville last month. Respected 9. LE TRONQUAY - Better on the turf but will need to improve from his comeback run in a claimer at Vichy last month 10. MARINA PALACE - Raised 2.5 Kg for her win in a handicap here last time out in July. Not ruled out 11. TISHKA - In the frame just once from nine career starts so far and needs to up her game to win 12. KYVON DES AIGLES - Still a maiden after fourteen career outings and there does not appear to be much hope here 13. DANCING MASTER - Third behind (10) MARINA PALACE in a handicap here in July. Poor run at Clairefontaine last month 14. DIGICODE - Remains a maiden after twenty career runs but has shown up well a few times and has a chance 15. NORWEGIAN LORD - Triple winner from twenty eight starts and placed in a few handicaps lately so in some sort of form Although still a maiden after twelve career starts (4) KALLIKRATES has been knocking on the door in handicaps this year. Placed in three of her last four starts she gets the vote to break her maiden tag today. (8) MA PETITE TOSCANE and

(6) BREATH OF LIFE were not far behind the selection on the PSF at Deauville last month and can be in the mix again today. (10) MARINA PALACE is another to consider. (4) KALLIKRATES - (8) MA PETITE TOSCANE - (6) BREATH OF LIFE - (10) MARINA PALACE

Race 6 1. VLATKA - Won a maiden at Maisons-Laffitte in April and placed in three Class 2 races since then. Respected 2. FRENCH PEGASUS - Runner up in five of his last six starts including his handicap debut at Maisons-Laffitte in July. Consider 3. LORRAYNIO - Unplaced in his last three starts but was in good form prior to that. Hard to recommend 4. AUDACIOUS GIRL - Won on debut this time last season but then lost her form. Might find a few too good today 5. RIVER CANNES - Capable two-time winner but has not been at her most productive of late. Outsider today 6. SUPERGIRL - Holding form and was runner-up in a claimer here in July. Could run in to a place 7. CANOUVILLE - Dual victor from thirteen career runs and not without a chance if on her best form 8. SO SORA - Has won three claimers and a handicap already this year but faces a stiff test here today 9. EN DANSANT - Broke her maiden tag on sixth attempt at Lion-D'Angers in May and a few decent efforts since. Respected 10. CHARNOCK RICHARD - Runner up behind Dann in a handicap at La Teste Buch last month. Tougher test here today 11. LA MAGICIENNE - Won on handicap debut at Lion-D'Angers in July but disappointing there last month 12. CLOSE TO MY HEART - Has not run since last November when unplaced in a handicap at Lyon Parilly. Others preferred 13. FUN TO MAS - Long-time maiden who has gone close a number times. Disappointing last two starts 14. CHALCO - Won a handicap here three starts back failed under the penalty last two times - outside chance 15. PETRUS - Somewhat reassured on fibresand at Deauville last time out and can be worth a look at Placed in a couple of Group Three races as a two year old (2) FRENCH PEGASUS finished runner up behind Falco Delavilliere in a Quinte on her handicap debut at Maisons-Laffitte in July. She can record a well deserved first

career success today. (1) VLATKA has been in good form in conditions races and cannot be ruled out. (7) CANOUVILLE and (9) EN DANSANT are next best. (2) FRENCH PEGASUS - (1) VLATKA - (7) CANOUVILLE - (9) EN DANSANT

Race 7 1. ENJOY THE SILENCE - Well tried this year and usually gives of his best. Could finish in the money again today 2. AFSANE - Had not run since last October before second to Line Drummer in a Class E race at Deauville last month. Condiser 3. HEIR TO A THRONE - Dual winner from twenty eight career runs and third to Line Drummer in a Class E race at Deauville last month. Respected 4. LYAVENITA - Five time winner from forty six starts but a few disappointing efforts since returning after a break 5. RAVEN RIDGE - Five wins from fifty three career starts but a couple of poor efforts at Clairefontaine last month 6. CAMPIONE - Half a dozen wins from fifty three career starts. Scored once earlier this year. First run since April 7. NOSTALBOWL - Won two in a row at Cagnes-sur-Mer earlier in the season but out of form at the moment 8. CHUCK SPORT - Five time victor from forty nine career starts but recent efforts need improving upon 9. MAGIC MAC - Has some decent form in handicaps this year and is on a fair handicap mark at present 10. BLACK BIRD RUNS - Seven time victor from fifty five career runs but well out of form so far this term 11. ADAM'S PEAK - Gets a 3 Kg penalty for his win in a handicap at Clairefontaine last month. Place prospects 12. PRINCESS EMMA - Four wins from fifty two and runner up to (11) ADAM'S PEAK in a handicap at Clairefontaine last month. Respected 13. CAJULA - Runner up in two Class G handicaps at Croise-Laroche in June and fourth at Clairefontaine last month. Can be in the mix 14. KIEFFER DES AIGLES - Three times a winner from fifty career runs and a couple of fair efforts this year. Well handicapped 15. KONIG CHOUCHEN - Dual winner from forty one starts but disappointing in a handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out (13) CAJULA had her last success in a Compiegne handicap in April of She has been sliding down the handicap since then but has been running better lately and gets a tentative vote today. (1) ENJOY THE SILENCE has been

running well this season and is likely to be in the mix. (2) AFSANE and (3) HEIR TO A THRONE are two more to consider. (13) CAJULA - (1) ENJOY THE SILENCE - (2) AFSANE - (3) HEIR TO A THRONE

Race 8 1. VIKING QUEST - Has not won for some time but is best around this distance and does have a chance on best form 2. EMPIRIC - Well tried this year without winning. Creditable fourth in a handicap at Vichy last month 3. TOUCH OF REAL - Well tried this year and has won twice including a handicap at Vichy last month. Respected 4. ICE COOL - Has achieved nine wins from ninety eight career runs but a few poor efforts in his latest starts 5. MYSTICAL PRINCE - Very unreliable and has struggled in last three runs. Might pop up in the places though 6. ROYAL SPRING - Triple winner from thirty nine starts but mark continues to slide and that is the worry 7. SECRET WHIPPER - Has generally struggled throughout 2018 and needs to find a few lengths to win this race 8. PEINTRE FRANCAIS - Has won two of his last five which were handicaps at Strasbourg and ParisLongchamp. Tough task at the weights 9. DESTINEE DU BOIS - One win from sixteen and placed in three of last four. Not without a chance here today 10. ETOILE DE MER - Just the one win from twenty four career starts but could run in to a place today 11. RIBOT DREAM - Just the one success from fifty four starts but has been placing a fair deal of late 12. BLUE MASTER - Runner up in three handicaps already this year and is likely to be in the mix again today 13. VIEILLE SORCIERE - Placed in one of her five starts in Germany this year and well beaten in a claimer at Deauville last month 14. TIBERIO - Runner up in a Class G handicap at Evreux six days ago. This is a tougher test today Although disappointing at ParisLongchamp last time out in June (12) BLUE MASTER was runner up in three handicaps before that this year. Returning after a break he is the selection to make it career win number seven. (9) DESTINEE DU BOIS and (3) TOUCH OF REAL are both in decent form coming in to this race and cannot be discounted. (1) VIKING QUEST can make the frame.

(12) BLUE MASTER - (9) DESTINEE DU BOIS - (3) TOUCH OF REAL - (1) VIKING QUEST

CRAON - 1st September Trainer of the day : Gabriel Leenders (302, 502) Jockey of the day : Clément Lefebvre (302, 502) Horse of the day : Julius Limbani (104) Dark Horse : Emelina Bella (203) Race 1 1. PAINT ISLAND - Fourth on debut at Senonnes and then won well at Le Liond'Angers. Improving 2. WEE JIM - British raider who has won well on last two outings from three and must be noted 3. TULFARRIS - Won the last of his four starts which came at Vittel but the feeling is this is too hot 4. JULIUS LIMBANI - British raider who has one win from four and an excellent fourth in a Listed event at Deauville last time 5. EL INGRATO - Has had three runs and won the last of them at Vichy. This looks a bit hot 6. CAVERNNDCHIPMUNKS - Won on debut at Le Touquet but then down the field at Vichy so questions to answer 7. PATH OF TOTALITY - Placed in the first two of her three runs and will be winning some day if not here 8. EARLY TIME - Won the middle of her three runs which came at Dax before a very close fourth in a Listed at La Teste-de-Buch 9. IZVESTIA - English raider who has won half of her four runs including a nursery handicap at Thirsk last time. Stable second string The young British rookie trainer Archie Watson has been taking all in front of him so far this season and especially in this juvenile division. His two representatives are headed up by (4) JULIUS LIMBANI who has already shown bundles of ability and was a very close fourth at Deauville last time in a similar Black type event. He looks better than stable companion, (9) IZVESTIA, who has taken a different route via a nursery success last time. (8) EARLY TIME and (1) PAINT ISLAND can earn good pay cheques also.

(4) JULIUS LIMBANI - (9) IZVESTIA - (8) EARLY TIME - (1) PAINT ISLAND

Race 2 1. KABER - This seven year old has won three times from thirty but the assessor needs to relent now 2. SANTA VALENTINA - Twice a winner from thirty but out of form with a while now and is discounted 3. EMELINA BELLA - Thrice a winner from fourteen. Shrewd handler and arrives in top form for big bid 4. NATSUME - Triple scorer from twenty one including at Les Sables-d'Olonne last time. Big player 5. ARDCASH - Dual winner from eleven runs. Things not gone to plan in just one effort this season 6. BREAK FORT - Triple winner from eleven. Excellent return following huge time off. Chance if there is no bounce 7. GREAT TONIO - Dual winner from thirteen. Good third last time and can be counted in here 8. EARLY ENOUGH - Dual winner from twenty two. Hard to predict but chance if on a going day 9. IRISH STORM - A dual winner from fifteen and easy to forgive a last time out poor performance. Not ruled out 10. MAHJONG - Unplaced in all four outings and surely is a back number for this today too 11. RODYANA - A triple winner from twenty eight. Runner up in her latest two efforts and every chance of going one better 12. SUMMER EVE - A five time winner from forty one and form this season in a few efforts has been topsy turvey 13. STAR THE FIRST - Twice a winner from fifteen but likely to go off at a big price here and not considered 14. MONTEVERDE - One victory from fourteen starts and is a very unlikely scorer in this it seems 15. EASILLY - Just the one success from twenty one but has been going close of late and not discounted 16. ZYZANYA - Just the one victory from seventeen and others look far better placed to challenge

There might be a bit of value here in this very closely knit handicap in the shape of the Alain Couetil trained filly, (3) EMELINA BELLA. She won her penultimate start at Corlay before being a well beaten second at Pompadour last time but she is better than that run suggested and might prove it here. (4) NATSUME will be a tough nut to crack as will (6) BREAK FORT if that one is not affected by the bounce theory. (7) GREAT TONIO and (11) RODYANA have each way plays. (3) EMELINA BELLA - (4) NATSUME - (6) BREAK FORT - (7) GREAT TONIO - (11) RODYANA

Race 3 1. FROSTY LAKE - Just the one win from thirteen which came in a small claiming event and not up to this 2. DROLE D'IDEE - One win from seventeen starts. Placed several times and in decent company lately. Massive chance 3. DIVINE D'AINAY - One win from her dozen attempts and a place may offer best hope here today 4. DAME DU BRESIL - Still winless after sixteen outings but has run some good races and has frame claims 5. DJEDDEL - One win from eight runs. Fell on last two runs including on seasonal reappearance. Chance if standing up 6. BALLING ROI - Two victories from twenty one runs but would look well up against it here 7. VOYAGE ENCHANTE - Sole success from eighteen in small event two starts back and second on follow up bid 8. ALECTIBO - Gained the breakthrough from a dozen runs two outings ago and fair run since too 9. ROUSSELINE - Off the mark on ninth and latest start which came at Josselin so on the improve (2) DROLE D'IDEE has to be the selection here despite having scored only once from seventeen outings. The five year old daughter of Coastal Path has placed several times of late and most notably when third in a very hot Quinte Plus event at Cairefontaine-Deauville. That form is a stand out here and she looks a much safer bet than (5) DJEDDEL who while talented, has fallen in his last two. (4) DAME DU BRESIL and (3) DIVINE D'AINAY can fill the frame. (2) DROLE D'IDEE - (5) DJEDDEL - (4) DAME DU BRESIL - (3) DIVINE D'AINAY

Race 4 1. ALTESSE THAIS - Thrice a winner from thirty six but has become predictable and not fancied 2. STOCKHOLM EMERY - Great strike rate with a dozen wins from fifty seven but needs to return to that form 3. DIVINE SPIRITE - Dual winner from a dozen runs. In form candidate and must be respected here 4. BRIDJNAIA - Half a dozen wins from one hundred and seventeen and still looksto have a squeak 5. GOLDY BABY - Dual winner from fifty four. In very good placed form of late and a must for shortlist 6. EASTERN PROMISE - Twice a winner from fifty runs but latest two efforts are uninspiring 7. AMERIX - Great hit rate with fourteen wins from eighty five. Always a contender and again here 8. HERLEVA - Thrice a winner from thirty four runs but much more needed today than has been in evidence lately 9. ROCNA - A ten time winner from eighty nine. Always commands respect and again for this one 10. DROIT AU REVE - Seven time winner from eighty and really is only a candidate for the places at best 11. VAL DE MAJORQUE - A four time winner from eighty two and could be a likely outsider all the same 12. CREEK OF ZAMBIA - Still a maiden after eighteen but has shown up well of late and not discounted 13. SUN AND POLO - Four time scorer from forty nine but form regressing now and not considered 14. ELO POLY - Has just the two successes from ninety four attempts and others are much preferred 15. BORN CHIEF - A dual winner from fifty four but cannot be fancied in the overall context of this affair A few of these have excellent win hit rates while several more are out of form and cannot be fancied. So, of those with chances, then (7) AMERIX probably deserves the vote. The nine year old gelding has already racked up a mighty

fourteen victories and another is on the cards. A similar type is (9) ROCNA who is a good outside wager. (3) DIVINE SPIRITE and (5) GOLDY BABY will push hard for victory also. (7) AMERIX - (9) ROCNA - (3) DIVINE SPIRITE - (5) GOLDY BABY

Race 5 1. SALDORELLO - Just the one win from thirteen which came in a small claiming event and not up to this 2. TYZEFF - Triple winner from ten which all came on last runs so in tremendous form 3. COUNTESS ALLEGRO - Two wins from twenty eight and does arrive here in solid form but each way chance only 4. AKHA DU MATHAN - Placed in four of his five outings and will surely break duck at some stage 5. EXTRA SMART - Still a maiden after nine outings and likely to remain that way after this 6. CLOWN YOYO - Placed in half of his eight starts but looks an outsider here today for this 7. SOLIDAM - Placed in four of his five runs and can easily be forgiven a last time out effort in a Quinte plus (2) TYZEFF just has to be the selection here today following a tremendous run of form which saw him win his last three runs and he fairly bolted up on the last of those which came at Le Lion-d-'Angers. He can continue the upward curve today at the chief expense of the smart maiden, (7) SOLIDAM, who is a winner waiting to happen. (4) AKHA DU MATHAN and (5) EXTRA SMART can finish a respectable distance behind those top two. (2) TYZEFF - (7) SOLIDAM - (4) AKHA DU MATHAN - (5) EXTRA SMART

Race 6 1. KATDAR - Has won two out of three outings and sure to run another big one here 2. PRIMELA - Off the marked with improved effort at La Teste-de-Buch last time and counted in here too 3. GOLDEN BERE - One win from her four runs but has it all to do in this better event now 4. MON PREMIERPLAISIR - Unplaced in all four outings and would be a monster shock should he take this 5. SINGING TOWER - Won on debut and only start when sneaking home at Deauville last month. Should improve A very small turn out for this two year old conditions event. Preference is for (2) PRIMELA who seemed to put up an improved performance when winning cosily in the end at La Teste-de-Buch early last month and now with her confidence in the ascendancy she should have more to give. (1) KATDAR has the highest rating and will not go down easily nor will the onced raced debutante victor from Deauville, (5) SINGING TOWER. (3) GOLDEN BERE can follow home. (2) PRIMELA - (1) KATDAR - (5) SINGING TOWER - (3) GOLDEN BERE

Race 7 1. ECHAUFFOUR - Five time winner from thirteen and is a bang in form contender again 2. GAILLEFONTAINE - Dual winner from fourteen and can be easily forgiven a last time out sub par effort 3. VASIAS - Great strike rate with seventeen from sixty two and always respected for win purposes 4. OEUVRE - Four time winner from forty six but may need to drop another pound or so in the handicap 5. DOCTOR FONTENAILLE - A dual winner from twenty six but poor on last outing which was uncharacteristic in fairness 6. STEREO - Five time scorer from twenty seven but must recapture some form ahead of this 7. DIVINE BERE - One win from nine but was off for nineteen months before recent fair return Animals that are in a rich current vein of form must always be given that little extra benefit when it comes to putting forward an opinion so in that case (1) ECHAUFFOUR is chosen to bring home the bacon. He has been a model of consistency in his thirteen starts and his only two starts this season confirm his wellbeing. (2) GAILLEFONTAINE is a clear second best and should land the forecast for backers. (6) STEREO and (4) OEUVRE have place claims. (1) ECHAUFFOUR - (2) GAILLEFONTAINE - (6) STEREO - (4) OEUVRE

VICHY - 1st September Trainer of the day : Tony Le Beller (210, 301, 404, 406, 515, 709) Driver of the day : Tony Le Beller (210, 301, 404, 515, 709) Horse of the day : Cromy (210) Dark Horse : Fanta d'ep (703) Race 1 1. CAID DE L'INAM - Barefoot again and improvement can be expected. Could finish in the money 2. COQUINE LOGE - Disappointing last run. Capable of better and could play a minor role. Might place 3. COLORADO WIND - Has yet to win after 48 starts and needs to find a few lengths to win this race 4. CHERIE DES LANDES - Modest last three runs but is capable of better and does have a winning chance 5. CHIPEUR CHAMP - Has been struggling recently and is probably best watched until improvement is shown 6. CAPRIO DE COUDDE - Well tried this year without winning and needs to find a few lengths to win 7. CARLOS DE TRELI - Has been struggling for some time now and does need major improvement to win 8. COW BOY SENOVILLE - Disappointing last run but is capable of doing better and could finish in the money 9. BROOKLYN TRIXIE - Modest recent form. More needed to win but might earn some minor money 10. BAZORRO JUPILLES - Recent form is probably best ignored and does have a winning chance on best form 11. BARON DE REUX - Returned to best form and won latest nicely. Can follow up in this line-up. Big chance 12. BISOU CLAUDE - Versatile but has not been at best recently and does need to improve to win 13. BRAGATO - Battling to regain best form but is always capable of earning some money 14. BIWA FLOR - Very unreliable but is quite capable of earning some minor

money. Place chance 15. BOSTON D'OYSE - Very unreliable but does have a winning chance if showing best side. Has a chance 16. BIONDA DE TILOU - Modest recent form. More needed to win but could play a minor role on best form (11) BARON DE REUX is the only last-start winner in the line-up and, on that basis, is worth siding with to land the spoils in the opener. The biggest threat to the selection is likely to come from one of unshod trio (4) CHERIE DES LANDES, (1) CAID DE L'INAM and (15) BOSTON D'OYSE who all capable of staking a claim if reproducing their best form. (11) BARON DE REUX - (4) CHERIE DES LANDES - (1) CAID DE L'INAM - (15) BOSTON D'OYSE - (10) BAZORRO JUPILLES

Race 2 1. BAMAKO DE LA GAZO - Has struggled throughout 2018 but last run when fifth indicated a possible return to form 2. VINGT DEUX JUILLET - Has been struggling of late and needs to improve to win. Others are preferred 3. APACHE DE CHENU - Mostly modest form of late. Capable of better and is not completely of it 4. VALMIO LOULOU - Has not won for some time but usually gives of his best and should go close once again 5. BONVIVA - Has struggled in four starts this year. Did a lot better last year and is not out of it 6. BAHIA JOSSELYN - Has been unreliable this year but she does have a winning chance if she show her best side 7. COW BOY GRIFF - A bit disappointing last time but does have a winning chance in this line-up. Go close 8. ALTESSE D'ARDENNES - Has been struggling recently and does need to find a few lengths to win this race 9. BE SERIOUS - Improving and did win latest start. Has a winning chance in this line-up 10. CROMY - Ignore last run. Has been in good form this year winning twice. Big chance 11. BEST OF DU VAL - Holding form well but this looks a tougher task. Could finish in the money 12. BOB MAGIC - Ignore last run. Has already won three races this year and does have a winning chance (10) CROMY fluffed his lines last time but is taken to bounce right back here and make amends in this line-up on the strength of his earlier form. The barefoot duo of (7) COW BOY GRIFF and (6) BAHIA JOSSELYN could get a look in, although consistent (11) BEST OF DU VAL is not without a chance either despite racing fully shod. (10) CROMY - (7) COW BOY GRIFF - (6) BAHIA JOSSELYN - (11) BEST OF

DU VAL

Race 3 1. DOLLY AMERICA - Poor recent form but is barefoot this time and vast improvement to win this race 2. DIAMOND OAKS - Mostly modest form recently and does need to find a few lengths to win 3. DUC DU VIVIER - Has struggled in last three starts and does need to find a few lengths to win this race 4. DROP DES DURIEZ - Has been in good form this year and does look likely to fight out the finish once again 5. DORIA RAUDIERE - Well tried this year and did win once. Needs to find a few lengths to win this race 6. D'ARTAGNAN FRANCE - Best recent run was at this track. Could finish in the money once again 7. DIMMIDISIA - Good last run when runner-up. Looking to go one better this time. Has a big chance (7) DIMMIDISIA caught the eye last time when runner-up in the five-year-old Cup at Cagnes-sur-Mer and a repeat of that should see her land the spoils here. Ultra-consistent (4) DROP DES DURIEZ warrants the utmost respect, though, and looks the one most likely to captalise should the selection fluff her lines. (6) D'ARTAGNAN FRANCE and (1) DOLLY AMERICA are the pick of the remainder and could complete the minors. (7) DIMMIDISIA - (4) DROP DES DURIEZ - (6) D'ARTAGNAN FRANCE - (1) DOLLY AMERICA
